Who agree's that Sony need to change 2 things....

1. Difficult hardware designs. (make it more dev friendly)

Because of this, more money needs to be thrown at the hardware to produce the same if not a little better quality, most multiplatfrom titles aren't as good as the 360 version (GTAIV is a great example only 640p for the PS3 version, but it is getting better) and smaller company's see it as a risk.

2. Dualshock controller. (3 generations, come on)

I don't really mind the analog placements, its more the handles, they need to be longer, the triggers need to go, and be redone. Starting to think the boomarang could have been better, play GTAIV with the standard controls on PS3, its unplayable and kills your hands.

other than those 2 things, the PS3 is a great console.

Besides, my favorite game developers aren't having any trouble producing great games for me to play with the PS3.

As for the controller, it hasn't changed in three generations because it's damn near perfect. It's easily the most versatile gamepad available.

The hardware needs to be changed, but Sony has been weird on this area since day 1.

The controller has worked from generation to generation. You can never please all, but as long as you please the biggest part, you dont need to change it. I find if comfortable, and when analyzing the Boomerang (which I really liked) I found some possible flaws for it, but they could be solved with Z triggers ala N64 placed on both sticks, a bit more separated from the RL1s.

1. I believe Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica have sent out dev kits to help other studios.

2. DS3 just needs better triggers and it will be the perfection that the DS2 was.

1. Have you seen multi-plats recently. A lot of devs are already starting to figure out PS3. No need for that 2. I'm to comfortable with my Dualshock after 3 generations, its really grown on me. A Playstation without a DualShock is like a Playstation without Final Fantasy. HeartlessOutlawStarXIII

About the controller Sony has already made the perfect PS controller...back in 1997. The Dual Analog controller!

PS3 is a great console and we dont need fanboys to prove it! there is nothing wrong with the controller. ps3 will last alot longer than 360 because its more advanced. i did own all three consoles and I ended up just keeping the ps3 because it was the best. i cant stand fanboys anymore. this system wars threads are a waste of life! just play the dam game and shut up. we all like our own consoles. me its the ps3! wii is the worst because i will never waste money on a game with bad graphics and stupid controls. This is next gerneration and wii does not come close. I only bought the wii for its controllers after 7 months, I got bored of it!

im not saying ps3 is garbage. It has some good games i would like to play like MGS4 and LBP. The problem is that i only has money to buy one system and in my opinion 360 is the obvious choise....more games, great online and now it has the lowest price! but...still my opinion ;)

hardware? no. are you series? ps2 was as complicated when it first came out but devs got the hang of it and look where it ended up! ps3 is in the same way having its hardware more and more recognised now by devs so nothing to change. BUT for ps4 yes they need to bring something more freindly in order to not scare off devs.

controller.....OMG are teh serieszzss??? it is THE best controller for the last two gens and this gen i think xbox one is better from what ppl have said but i prefer it rather than having something new cos im so used to it seeing as i have used it for last three gens!
