No because they really didn't do that much especially back then. Most of it was illegal practices and lying BS. They did not bring many new thing to the table that did not already exist hardware and SOFTWARE wise. You are like many others, you can't respond because you don't have an answer. Ok so basically you are too scared to type this yourself so you link a article. That's minus one. The first part of the article is a subjective mes saying that the NES had the most comfortable controller compared to the others THEY used. Which may not include all of the competiton and previous controllers. So subjectiveity proves nothing minus one.Then the article adds more BS pretty muc implying the NES was the first and only console to have done.thought of using thumbs for buttons and act like it would not have exsited when both are false. MInus 3 points so far.
More talk of Rectangles being better to hold then Squares or other controlers which the people who wrote this article never used. Ridiculous. Minus 4 points for you sir.
Then they throw pretty much PC already did this when they implyed most of the article before it would not be possible without Nintendo. Contradiction? Minus 5.
Bascially, the whole article is saying that they have a subjective opinion of a confortable controller, believe no controller did or ever would have had your thumbs at the buttons. compared it to controllers that they used and probably never used the other controlers on other systems because their description are BS. Then they imply all would not be done without Nintendo then they throw PC in their and try to cover it up acting like they were only talking of consols, then they continue talking about the dept the controller has further indicating they only probably played with a intellivision or 2600 controller and nothing else.
So this is basically what you are telling me der coo: The NES was a piece of **** and the only thing it had was the controller which was overhyped and credited for BS. That is basically what you told me, and to be honest, I can't blame you since the whole invneted D-pad thing flew in people faces.
How about you tell me what they ACTUALLY did to define gaming software and hardware wise, and the controller is not one of them. Subjectivity and BS with the only thin about the controller being true is that more third-paties used it because of it. But that's only because it was popular, there were other systems IMO that had more comfortable controls, that they most likely never used. Making both our points subjective erasing the controller+innovation out entirely. So yes, any thing esle? You said you have a list and the only thing this BS talked about was the controller.
