xbox was my favourite console last gen mainly coz of splinter cell and xbox had the best version of one of my fav game of all time (splinter cell chaos theory)
I had both a Gamecubeand aPS2. I got my Gamecube first and a few years later I got my PS2. The PS2 was by far the best because of its great library of exclusive games. All the Gamecube had was Super Smash Brothers Melee, Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing. The PS2 had Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Sly Cooper, Sly 2, Sly 3, Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, Downhill Domination, Tales of Legendia, Bully, Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3 and Jak X.

Same thing happened to me. Different games but same reason on switching to the PS2.
I still like theGamecube for the games i did enjoy playing on it.
I started with the XBOX but only really enjoyed Halo and Otogi. My roommate has a PS2, so I got to play some great stuff there, but I was happiest with my GC.
All of them as usual, although I probably used the PS2 the most as it had my favourite games of that generation
I got a GC first then PS2 then Xbox.
Last gen it was PS2 with more games thougth many games were OK there were enough games that were great. GC had some GREAT games but just a few. I WILL never use LIVE, still Xbox I have a ton of games to beat. I have sooooooo many that I end up trying some for a time and then switching to another. Only beat a few games on Xbox.
I have all four systems last generation, but like yourself I prefer the Nintendo Gamecube the most out of the others. I have to be honest here, the Nintendo Gamecube might be one of the best system I have played in years even with lack of third party support. Great selection of games, and with great third party games when they were available for this system!I chose the Gamecube and i still play it today. Infact that is my favorite system of all time.

i had both a PS2 and an XBOX, although i got the Xbox first because it was a gift, until i saved money and bought a PS2, i liked them both but the PS2 had ore and better games, the Xbox had Halo :CE nuff said
i almost forgot my SEGA Dreamcast, it was actually the first of the generation
I got the Gamecubefirst then the PS2. I much prefer the Gamecube due to the higher number of outstanding games
Games that I love to no end on PS2:
-Dragon Quest VIII
Games that I love to no end on Gamecube
-Pikmin 2
-Pikmin
-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
-Super Smash Bros. Melee
-Metroid Prime
-Metroid Prime 2 Echoes
Sure, the PS2 had many more good games, but it had far less amazing games than the GCN IMO.
PS2.
It was a hard decision at the time, but it turned out to be the right one. I can play all of those GC games from last gen on my Wii if I wished, and I also have a PS2 that still has many great games that I have yet to play.

Time to make this an argument!
Your opinion sucks. Kingdom Hearts 1&2 are amazing, FFX is amazing, all Ratchet and Clank games are amazing (exluding Size Matters, but that's because it's a port from the PSP), Jak 1-3 were amazing, as is Lost Frontier, GT3 was amazing.
You know what, your opinion doesn't suck. It really all depends on what you like. All of the games you named are amazing, too.
I got a Gamecube first, I think in 2002. Then I got an Xbox in 2004 and a PS2 in like 2006. Although GC had a lot of great games, I slightly prefered the Xbox for games such as Oddworld, Conker and GTA. The PS2 I was never really interested in, but my brother gave it to me for free.
I was saving up for a 360 for some time, but after hearing of the bad quality of the system, and there being no real interesting games on it for me apart from GTA IV, I bought a Wii instead, and never regretted it since.
First had a gamecube (all we could afford). Eventually later on I got a ps2 and near the end of the generation I got an xbox.
I played the ps2 before it even came out actually, my aunt worked at some place and got (I think stole) one, played thps 2 on it. I was only 9 so it's hard to remember the details.
