Gamecube and PC....the perfect combo
Gamecube has Metroid Prime (best game last generation), MP2, the entire true Resident Evil series (RE0, REmake, RE2, RE3, Code Veronica: X, RE4) to that point, WindWaker, Twilight Princess, Eternal Darkness, and the ability to play Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask on it.
PC has best version of Max Payne 1 and 2, F.E.A.R., KotOR, Call of Duty, HL2 and episodes not to mention UT 1999, No One Lives Forever 1 and 2, Planescape Torment, Guild Wars, Deus Ex, Morrowind, Diablo 2, Baldurs Gate 2, and a slew of brilliant strategy games led by Company of Heroes, Civilization IV, and Warhammer: Dawn ofWar.
I had a GC/Xbox and frequently played PS2 games on my uncles PS2. I played the GC the most by far. didnt have much money and the GC just had truely standout games (two favorite games of all time are Wind Waker and RE4). most non exculsives I got for Xbox. PS2 I played alot of the exclusives but could never get into stuff like rachet, GOW, or metal gear (though sotc and jak were great).
I had a GC/Xbox combo with a average PC (which I played Half-Life 2 and Diablo 2 on for countless hours). Xbox got a lot of time due to LIVE (played Rainbow Six3/BA, Halo 2, Splinter Cell) and GC had a ton of amazing single player games.
Got a PS2 later down the road
Gamecube, because for my money, Metroid Prime and Smash Bros were the best experiences of my gaming carreer.
I had a Gamecube, while my brother had a PS2 (I used it too).
Sometime in 2007 I traded my Gamecube for an Xbox (Because my Wii could play my Gamecube games).
I guess my favorite was the Gamecube. Last generation really wasn't good at all, in my opinion (YES, I'M SAYING THE PS2 WASN'T AMAZING!).

Had all 3 consoles, but got Xbox first because I'm a graphics whore, a lot of Dreamcast sequels were coming out for it, and I liked it's controllers the best (the Duke FTW). Then got the Gamecube, soley for it's "exclusive" Godzilla game, which came out in a much better version for the Xbox a few months later >:(
Well I owned a PS2, gamecube and a XBX (for about four onths lol). The XBX didn't get no love most of the time and I often played my PS2.
GC as my main since launch until my older sister gave me her PS2 slim before she moved out.
Gamecube. I put soooooooo many hours into that little cube and I continue to do so today. The most underrated console ever.Superzonewhy does the majority of sys wars like the gamecube? it had practically no third party support and a lot of kid games... the same reason i never liked the n64... After snes third party support and jrpgs went to the playstation brand, and that's where i roll.. I always thought the gamecube as a kids console... I am 30 and most of you guys are probably in your teens so I guess that could explain... parents buy kids nintendo consoles most often.

If anything the playstation2 was a kids console, most of the people I know who had gamecubes were adults.

C'mon dude, it's Nintendo. Also, no KID could fully enjoy mature and atmospheric games like Metroid Prime, and you're pretty tasteless if you pass up Super Mario Sunshine for looking "kiddy". The Cube kicks ass.

Actually super mario sunshine kind of sucks. I only got about 3 hours into it before I moved on.
Xbox and PC. I was a very poor and casual gamer at the time and the main reason i picked Xbox was Halo. Eventually I also wanted to get the PS2 and Gamecube for all the games those had, but it wasn't until this generation that i would be able to have funds for more games and platforms.

Well I'm older than you are, I enjoyed GC for Masterpiece Metroid Prime (and its sequel), the ability to play all the true Resident Evil games to that point, and ability to play all the best Zelda games except Link to the Past. Also, Eternal Darkness was exclusive to GC (you can play on Wii now).
combine GC with PC and thats largely all you needed.
