Who do you think will win the console wars?!?!

I agree with pretty much everything you said but I have to give it ot he PS3. The main reason here is the majority of 360 games I want are on PC so I buy them for that. There are a lot less PS3 games going to PC than the 360.Jade_Monkey

Sales-Wise: Wii in a blowout

Game-Wise: Toss up between PS3 and 360 unless the Wii can have an explosive 2009.

Well the wii I think is gonna win, its selling and is gonna continue to, and I think the ps3 will pass the 360 in sales by the end of this gen because ps3 has already sold more than the 360 did in the time period it was out, and the 360 had a one whole year without compition so I think the ps3's does damn well and that its gonna continue that trend after the holiday season is over

Plus honestly I haven't see anythink in the 360's 2009 lineup, besides GeoW3

2 - Microsoft Xbox 360

3 - Sony PS3

IMO I think wii will win in sales, followed by ps3, for reasons stated above, although the 360's low price could be a big selling point, so who knows

In order to win something. You have to have rules. What are the rules that will declare a "winner"? No one will win if they have NO rules. If Microsoft scraps the 360 and builds another console....Sony will scream that they won. In the minds of Microsoft....they won the war and moved on to the next console.The court of public opinion will always vary, and the opinion polls will always go back and forth. Pointless.  What major company will be honest admit that they are either "lossing" or that they are "behind".  I personally dont see it, I also dont see a winner. I have the PS3, and the 36o...I dont like both, I LOVE both. IIJuggaNottII

dont expect mch from the wii. it will only win so much causuals with its current gaming catolog. Might sell like a ps2/1 but doesn't have the games are the support. Ms will screw up their lead agaisnt sony. If economy doesn't hurt the ps3 sales and ps3 gets to 199 by sometime in 2010 then it may sell.

In the short run(next year or too) I expect

2. ps3 beating 360 not by far

Next 4 to 5 years should be a lead by wii with ps3 chasing it or barely surpasing it.

If we look at sales only, i think it's pretty obvious by now that the Wii will come out victorious. Games wise, i think the PS3 will have the best library in the end.

Though its not easy to tell whi will be last now. When the ps3 forst came out I would have said it would be last, then when MGS4 came out I said the 360 would be last. But now the 360 has a price drop I cant really say.

Its all about price right now, sony are in for a beating this christmas due to its price, but if the get the price at around £200, they still have a chance to win the "HD" console wars.
