Who else is completely checked out of this gen after this holiday is over?

By now we are all aware of the holiday onslaught that just started today. Gears 3 just came out, Skyrim comming out, Battlefield 3 (which I have on preorder but have no idea how im going to pay for), Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3, etc. Blah, blah, I wont bore you with the lists anymore (assuming we are not counting this list :P ).Once all these games come out, I might catch up on a few games I missed this gen, but outside of that, I am completely mentally checked out of this generation.New God of War in 2012?.......New 'insert random PS3 exclusive#xxxx here' in 2012? Yea, dont care.Halo 4, you say? Yea, no Xbox720 no care.Once these games come out I could not give two flying f***s about this current gen of consoles anymore. Bring on Xbox720 and PS4. Who else is with me?

Why would I just stop caring about new releases? Next gen is not here yet and there are far too many titles I am anticipating.

I've been mentally checked out of consoles since last Christmas when new console rumors started floating around. Waiting until 2015 when Diablo 3 launches, I can hold out until the next consoles launch. If one comes with BC it will be a day one purchase.

I'm checked out as far as shooters go for sure. Im sick of the COD copycat attitude from devs. BF3 is going to be one of the most overrated shooters this gen. Shooters in general have flooded the market so badly that it's way over saturated. I have the shooters and games I like to play. Im still into the racing and action/adventure games. Some upcoming RTS projects for PC interest me as well.

Not me.

I still have a backlog of games to play and finish. And more to buy. I'm gonna milk the hell out of my PS3 and 360 for all it's worth for this entire gen. 2013 is probably the year I'm gonna slow down a bit with gaming purchases. After this generation, I'm ONLY sticking to just ONE console next gen. Far too many games to play and not enough time.

As to which one, I have no clue, likely MS or Sony, but I'll also keep an eye for Nintendo's.
