Coming from a former MGS hater, MGS4 is a pretty enjoyable game. To me its far from perfect, but I don't regret buying it one bit.

when mgs used to come to the other consoles the thing was it would lose the extra soulder button and the controls would suffer. Now thats not a problem, Listen there are plenty of hints and such that show that a MGS4 port to the 360 will happen eventually. My bet is when they come out with the substance version of it. (Flame shield activated) :P

How are they going to handle Snake using a DualShock 3, Sony having deals with Konami on advertising. The same for Apple. Otacon talking about Blu-Ray and all. Even if they call it Substance and don't have to be obliged to those partnership deals, I don't think it's happening. Kojima's even thinking about MGS5. Only time will tell. Can't the PS3 have one amazing excluisve now? :P

IMO I just can't see it being as good as the original. Only time will tell though, if it actually happens at all.

I want to play it, but I won't spend $400 + $60 to play it. So I'll wait until:
1. It comes to the 360 and/or PC. I'm confident this will happen in 2009, as Konomi said something to the effect of only being able to play it on the PS3 in 2008.

2. The PS3 gets a price slash.

I've got a love/hate thing with MGS. MGS 3 was the best one IMO. But I've always been amazed how a game can be so good in some areas, and so bad in others.

For me the person who would sit down and beat all 3 mgs in one sitting and repeat it the next day. (I think I beat mgs3 14 times, Mgs2 6 times, and mgs like lost count times. mgstt bout 9 times) So for me I was thinking of buying a ps3 because of mgs4 but then I heard the price at E3 and I was like O_O, and then I looked at the 360 cheaper, alot of games I wanted. But still I wouldnt buy it. Then when I went to walk into the store for a ps3 i bought a 360 instead. Gears of war was the first real online game i have ever gotten into i was amazed. But still Mgs4 is always there wanting me to buy a ps3 for it. But there has been too many hints and such that mgs4 is not exclusive so I'll wait as long as it takes because Mgs was my favorate game series ever but Its still not enough for me to buy a system.

No worries about waiting, I have plenty of quality games to play till it does.. Its not like the 360 only has one really good must have game.

Hot Shots Golf 5, and Battlefield Bad Company. As I was on my way I had time to think
about which game to get. It was easy to drop SC4 and HSG5 out. SC4 because it is a

Well I went to the store yesterday to get a game. My choices were MGS4, Soul Calibur 4,

Seriously someone on youtube beat MGS4 in three hours by skipping cutscenes so think to yourself will they be so entertaining the 2nd 3rd time around etc... OK STFU we get the point we know what war is JEEEZ.

the multiplayer is one big explosion from the short time that I have played it. I still Enjoy CoD4 more. IDK might be better for you if you like the vehicles and stuff. (buildings are pointless in the game)
