hits the greatest hits price before buying it? I want a game and can't see getting MGS4 over others I want and we have a lot coming also. Kinda has me thinking of skipping MGS4 until it drops in price.Bubblehash
I agree. I'll be getting a PS3 around the holidays and there's probably 5-6 other games I want before that. MGS has never been all that great to me. Fun but only so so. 4 sounds like it's made improvements, but still. The over the top story and 90 minute cutscenes are just blah imo!

I picked up MGS4 for $170AUD... Limited Edition... oh and while I was at it I picked up a bluetooth headset for $120AUD... oh snap! Could of bought a core pack Xbox 360! XD

Ok I just finished beating it and man what a ride. So many twist and turns in the story. I loved every second of playing the game. Now to check out the online and also play through the singleplayer again.

It was the best $60 I spent this next gen on a game so far. Definately worth the money and I would buy it agains if it ever broke or I lost it. I am just that die hard of a fan for such amazing games.

I got the game for free. Gameplay was really really short but the cutscenes were really really long. :(

look it will be a while before that happens. first party games or exclusives what ever you call them take the longest to go down in price you'll be lucky to see it hit 40 if its on sale. a mutiplatform games goes down in price fast. trust me buy mgs4 now don't wait because you'lll be waiting a while

Keep waiting guy. As for the TC check Amazon.com sometime they have for 30-55 bucks for a used or new copy.

Have fun with that. Cows are waiting for Bioshock, but why wait? (Besides the fact BioShock is actually CONFIRMED, and MGS4 is a dream)

Now that I got a PS3 I've enjoyed other fun games like Warhawk, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Uncharted, Ratchet, ET:Judgment, Folklore, PixelJunk Monsters, & Resistance. LBP, like MGS4, is another great I'm looking forward too...I haven't even gone into the media center aspect, free Online, Free Wifi, and of course Blu-Ray.

Cows said FF13 would never be on the 360... Wouldn't be the first multiplat MGS game :)

MGS ports always lose something in translation. There's just something that ain't the same. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Yeah, its called exclusivity.

Konami is not square enix, people need to remember that.

And there are ALOT of ps3 references, and advertising contracts in mgs4 and it would be a pain to port

ps. MGS3 didnt come to the xbox :) , why should mgs4?

Yeah, I actually hope it does go multiplat so people who only have 360's can experience it.

You arn't missing much...so even if it doesn't come to 360...don't buy a Ps3 for it.
