Who else was hyped for ps3 but has since drifted

I was hyped for ps3 originally in 2006, but then all the games performed better on xbox 360 and it was cheaper. I bought the xbox 360 a day or two before the ps3 launch. Then I thought of ps3 again, but decided to go with an overkill PC which I will build in December. Even with the price drop and new models, ps3 is still a no go.

You'll be much happier having a PC/PS3 than PC/360. I know I am.

Or just stick with PS3/360 or PS3/PC. Either way is good, but Op took the wrong road.

Had a good experience with the xbox 360 despite the rrod but now need to go PC, the next definitive step up. The e3 ps3 hype about the power of the system all turned out to be BS.

Two years late are we not?

Never been hyped for it.

Nothing about spending $300 to play the one game that looks interesting sounds appealing, and therefore I'm not excited for it.

Why would someone drift just when the system has hit it's stride, the last year saw the release of inFAMOUS, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles and the upcoming year brings us Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, MAG and of course there's been all the good PSN stuff. And this is not mentioning all the 3rd party games.

I got one at launch and it was a door stop. Some great stuff has come out since then, though and I've been missing out.

I got one in 07 right when some good stuff was coming out and they dropped the price of the 60gb to 500$

I havent played it in a couple weeks, or any of my next gen systems for that matter, but i will play the heck out of it this holiday

Other than UC2 I'm not looking forward to anything on PS3. But I was never all that hyped about the PS3. Once I saw that the graphics looked the same as the 360 I was over it.
