Who Has The Best Fall Line up (poll)

Upcoming games I'm planning to get:

Wii: Wii Music, Animal Crossing

PS3: Socom, LBP, Resistance 2

360: Fable 2, Mercs 2, Saints Row 2, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, Portal, Banjo, Gears of War 2

You didn't, but those are games where majority is multiplayer, same as gears, yet you trash gears for having no story when you have more games with 0 storyline. Thus, Warhawk/LBP and others if i cared to search.

Although LBP is my most anticipated, as a full game lineup, Xbox 360 impresses the most.

For me it's a tie between ps3 and 360.

PS3 : Valkyria Chronicles, LBP, Resistance 2

360 : Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, Gears 2.

Everything else i'll be getting is multiplats.

Hey buddy, some of us here don't allow some stupid review to dictate our opinion on a game. Apparently, loganh didn't enjoy GeOW, it's his opinon...respect that. And before you go bashing a game, how about try playing it first? At least through playing the game, you could provide a better argument than that "GeOW got GOTY" crap.

Games coming this fall that are worth it:

PS3: Motorstorm 2, LBP, SOCOM, Resistance 2

360: Fable 2, Gears 2

I've never raved MGS4...why? I've never played it. I have played Gears however, and all it is is a 3rd person shooter without horrible controls. That's it. If normal 3rd person shooters didn't have such horrible controls, all gears would be was nice textures, which is essentially what it is when you compare it to a polished FPS like Resistance or Halo 3.

Maybe if gears had a story a sequel would be worth it...but unless you STILL play GeOW online daily and are interested in a $60 expansion pack, then go on ahead. But when you look at the storyline that R2 and others have, it's hard to get excited about another killfest

i guess i just cant wrap my head around a good game that is about pinatas based of a kids show. go figure :P

Let's see, day 1 buys Fable 2, Banjo, Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, Last Remant, Infinite Undiscovery.

Get it eventually games: Socom, Resistance, Gears, Too Human, Left 4 Dead.

Id say 360.

Most of the games I'm buying this year are multiplat. Infact the only exclusive game on the 360 I'm buying for sure is Gears 2,but that alone is better than the PS3's exclusive lineup. (IN MY OPINION)

to honestly think that wiis lineup this fall is better than the ps3s...

But for arguments sake, and in order to back up our opinions, we use professional reviews as they have more credibility then anyone here in SW. So you can call GeoW crap, and thats fair enough, its your opinion. But you have to understand that the majority like the game. In the end, GS is all that counts, so GeoW is much better than resistance hence why GeoW won GOTY and scored AAA whereas resistance only achieved AA. This may not mean much to you, but then your opinion of Gears doesnt mean that much to us.

Just because I disagree with you does not make me a fanboy. I'm interested in titles on all platforms -- Just because I'm interested in more Wii titles for fall 2008 than PS3, im deemed 'A fanboy':roll:

To be honest, the only two games I want for the 360 this fall is Gears 2 and Left 4 Dead... and I doubt I'll get around to getting Left 4 Dead.

Resistance, SOCOM, Gears 2, and LBP will be getting all my time this fall. :)

I agree with you, Mr Johnson, Gears 2 is the only 360 game this year that really gets my juices flowing. I'd say the PS3 wins this year with the games you mentioned along with Tekken 6 and Motorstorm 2.

PS3 without a question. Little Big Planet, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Socom: Confrontation, Resistance 2, Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, Bioshock, Valkyria Chronicles, and the list goes on.

The 360 will take more of my $ this fall...
