But according to SW, it's just a series with more than 3 games (i.e. Halo), regardless of quality.

Oh, CoD doesn't really deserve the hate it gets. Sure, it's alittle imbalanced and repetitive, but at its core, it's a solid franchise with a kickass story and some great gameplay.

I get where you're coming from on Tony Hawk. I didn't play the second one much, but I practically wasted my childhood on the first game when I could get my hands on it. It was a solid franchise up until Underground 2 I'd say, then it lost it's luster, it got gimmickey, the controls got worse, the scoring system changed slightly, it just changed too much for the worse.

Nintendo. Who else would get away with releasing two of the same game at one time (Pokemon)?
