who here still use their gen 7 consoles?

I am still playing Guilty Gear on my PS3 because I still need to get a fightstick for the PS4. Was looking forward to the Madcatz GG Xrd stick, but unfortunately they were all out on the store website.

I am still extending my PS3 game collection. Whenever I come across a rummage table with last gen games, I look for a bargain.

360 - still in regular use for FIFA and playing games I missed with the Games With Gold scheme

PC - mine is AT best a "7th gen" equivalent

3DS - plenty of DS games get played still

Consoles I have out:

• Wii U
• Wii (mostly for Gamecube and homebrew)
• PS3 Slim
• 360
• PS2 Slim
• N64

I use the PS3 the most (for Netflix) and play the others every once in a while.

Still rockin the PS3, but mainly for when I want to play PS1/PS2 games.

Yeah, I still play my Wii U from time to time.

I am still playing on my PS3, right now I'm playing Tales of Zestiria

The Xbox and 360 versions are better as of now. The MCC was the selling game for me. I was ready to buy the console for it. It turned out to be a shoddy release. Xbox Halo/Halo2 and 360 Halo3/Reach/4 don't lag in coop like the Xbone versions.

you can't play original halo 2 on multiplayer tho which is the best one

and you don't have halo 2 anniversary, and halo 3 / halo 4 is at 60 FPS instead of whatever it is on 360 and they giving me ODST free and 1 month of live

i like having all my halo in one place now all they need is reach to add to the package and you get it all in one spot

Wait the MCC coop modes were fixed? Everything I've read said that the framerate dips like crazy when the campaign is played in coop.

They are not fixed according to 343, they are still in the process of being fixed though. The games are better now than at launch though, but there are still various errors and bugs that crop. Some of the fixes created new problems, and some fixes worked.

In fact, a beta of more fixes is incoming soon. 343 hasn't given up on the game, but it's certainly not fixed yet. There is of course, anecdotal evidence from users that have had horrible experiences and users that have had great experiences. Personally, I've lost saves as many others have.

I had a few occasions where the FPS dipped, but it was pretty minor. The games were actually pretty decent when I played them all through coop.

My ps3 gets the most play time now since I was very busy in the past two years so now in clearing my backlog now finishing yakuza 4 and tales of xillia.

Dont own a ps4 yet so yeah sticking with PS3 for quite a while (at least until Tekken 7 launches on consoles), I barely play my vita let alone have time for another console.

Still use the PS3. Still buy games for it. Bought Army of Two Devils Cartel tonight to play with a friend. Also bought Walking Dead Season 2 for it to carry over my save as well as The Wolf Among us which I loved.

Love my PS3 still. Last gen still holds up IMO.

Well I bought a PS4 but I haven't hooked it up yet, it's currently in my closet until Bloodborne comes out. I still use my PS3 for Netflix and Youtube.

I still buy PS3 and 360 games, don't game on them primarily anymore though. I should though, 'cause I got a backlog of PS3 games I never came close to finishing.

It's ok. I'm here to give you assurance in your decision to stick with the last gen systems. I still have my last gen consoles hooked up, and I'm focusing on shortening my back log list.

PS3 gets plenty of use with Blu-Rays and streaming. Occasionally I'll play an old PS1 game. I game mostly on my PC and Wii U these days. My 360 has not been touched in a long time.

There's still free games I'm getting on my PS3 from PSN....So not letting go anytime soon.

It is surprising to hear so many with gen 8 consoles who still play gen 7. I do not have a gen 8 console yet, but I'm just more impressed with the ps3 back catalog than I am with the current gen 8 catalog. I'm in a position where the longer I wait the better. When I do make the plunge there will be a lot of games to get, and probably cheaper and more reliable hardware

Other than pc, the most use I get is from my Wiiu. I was excited to play on the ps4 (love the controller btw) but it got stale after two weeks of using it. Now I mainly just play fifa15 with my brother on it whenever he visits. I am playing a lot of ps3 games because I'm a cheap bastard and gamestop's $5 used games (uncharted 1-3, god of war for example) paired with a ps3 is like steam.

I don't use any consoles,period.

My PC is more powerful than any console ever made,combined.

The PS3 will always be relevant. Some of it will be based on how much use one got out of the psn shop and what sony does with it in the future, but regardless it works as a functioning psx and ps2 in some cases. This was something I'd frequently point out when people were comparing the 360 and PS3. I really like being able to throw in a 20 year old playstation disc and have it boot up just fine on the ps3. Imo PS4 is a big step down.

PS3 is still set up but not used in a long time. Last of Us and Ni No Kuni where the last games I played. Just on PC and Wii U right now really.

PS3 is used more often than PS4. Just because the latter is out doesn't mean I didn't miss out on a boatload of Gen 7 games

I still didnt buy PS4 because there are too many games I have yet to play on PS3. I'm currently playing Ni No Kuni, Red Dead Redemption, Far Cry3 and Dark Souls 2. I also still plan to get Resistance 3, Left Behind dlc, Beyond: Two Souls, Catherine, Mass Effect 3, Journey, Dead Space 2 and probably plenty others I forgot.

But I bought MGS: Ground Zeroes and decided that I will be getting Metal Gear Solid 5 on PS4, because the graphics are disappointing on PS3 - worse than the graphics of MGS4 imo, it is just too obvious that it is a toned down version of the game.

i havent used it much since destiny came out but it still in rotation...i need to finish ni no kuni and borderlands 2

I have a PS3 and I don't use it anymore but my daughter plays on it all the time.

Nope. My Wii-U plays all the Nintendo games I want to play right now (but I still have my Wii for GC games if I'd ever feel like playing them again) and my trusty PC is still going strong. I saw no point in having a PS3 or 360. And don't say Halo, Last of Us or Uncharted please. Most overrated games ever. Call of Duty? LOL. I'm quite amazed at how bad the most critically acclaimed Sony and Microsoft games really are.

Yes....no reason to get a new console at this point.

Maybe after some years pass by and it's cheaper/there's actually some decent games for it. (and they'll be cheaper also)

There's only one place for me to play Gears of War and The PS3 surprisingly has life in it.

I've been playing Ps2 the most, because its the most financially fesable thing for me to do lol. Well that and my internet connection at home is slow as all hell so I hate trying to download new games on my Ps3.

With my Ps4 I only have Dragon Age Inquisition in physical games. Downloaded games: Infamous First Light, Injustice Gods Among Us, Velocity 2x, Dust: An Elysian Tale. Been sinking a some hours into Dragon Age on the weekends but other than that don't play it that consistently. I admit in terms of available games out for Ps4 right now, the only ones I feel the urge to get anytime soon are Far Cry 4 and maybe Infamous 2nd Son xD Game catalog for Ps4 just isn't that great yet, I think I would have done better to fix my Ps3 and keep playing it , and get Ps4 in 2016 when it has an actual decent game catalog and maybe reduced price.

Actually WiiU looks like the current gen console with the highest total of games that I'm interested in like Smash Bros 4, Bayonetta 2, Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and then since its backwards compatible Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Metroid Prime collection, and a whole host of classic old school nintendo games on virtual console... going to get one in a week. Going to replace my Ps3 sometime later this year hopefully this summer.

My dream lineup is : Ps4, Ps3, Ps2, WiiU, New 3DSXL. Not sure if I really want a vita b/c game selection. Once I get that line up (2016 sometime?) I wont be getting another console until the "next" generation haha.
