I love my 360... It ranks up there with Genesis.
Can't wait for the flood of games coming in June!
This topic is locked from further discussion.
360 is likely to be my main console this year if not this entire generation. I've had it for 6 months and have so far bought 6 games for it, which is a lot for me since I usually only buy two or 3 games a year, with 360 it looks as if I'm buying a game per month. It makes sense that 360 has a ridiculous attach rate, the system just makes you want to buy games, plain and simple.
[QUOTE="SpecialForcesOp"][QUOTE="thedarkomen"]After all the recent news and the PR "things just break" is anyone dissatisfied with their purchase?

It beats the PR Speak of it's 599$ and there are no games worth a damn on it........;)
I know, xbox games are just.. sooo much better than Legend of Zelda: TP and Resistance. I mean, its all about it being on the xbox if its not its no good.
Not to mention the PR speak "things just break"Â "b-bu Halo 3 target render is realtime!" haha... good times, good times.
I'd rather have a PS3 and a Wii than spend any time on the crapbox. I've played the 360, I've given it several chances. The games... are bad.. But the other systems just don't hold a candle to your little itty bitty 8 versus 8 multiplayer though right?
Â
I mean god forbid if the system is any good ;)Â
Conclusion, xbox is overrated pile of trash. Play it to find out. Play all the systems before you decide. Don't listen to anyone else.Â
Man, this thread backfired on you!
The sad part is, you weren't looking for an honest answer. You just wanted to stir up some anti-xbox hate, like another poster mentioned.
Also, according to reviews, the best 360 games ARE better than Zelda and Resistance. Which are the only reasons to buy their respective consoles.
The 360 games are bad? But Resistance is good? That is silly. You say you "gave the 360 many chances". I say you didn't. Sure, you may have played it a few times, but you were only looking to fuel your hatred. If any object person played the best of each system RIGHT NOW, they would all (90% at least) have to choose 360.
How many hardcore Sony fans do you know that have jumped ship? I know quite a few. (Most actually jumped at the end of the Xbox 1 lifespan). It is not just system wars.
Mine hasn't broke, and with games like GeoW, GRAW, RB6 Vegas, DOA 4, DOAX2, Oblivion, Castlevania SotN, Dead Rising, TMNT arcade, Forza 2, Mass Effect.... I am LOVIN' my 360 :)AdobeArtist
Â
Second. I dig my 360. In fact, already dug 8)
The first 8 months of owning it, hell yes I was dissatisfied the only decent titles that caught my eye were Dead Rising, Kameo &
Ghost Recon but I guess when Gears came out the 360 had an epiphany and good solid titles started coming out (My fav gaming console at the moment). Hopefully Ps3
doesn't have the same drought but so far Ps3 has kept me satisfied.Â

It seems that most of the people that don't like the 360 have never owned one... user satisfaction seems quite high.Take it backÂAfter all the recent news and the PR "things just break" is anyone dissatisfied with their purchase?

No, mine did not break
[QUOTE="John-J-Rambo"]No but I sure as hell am with the Sorry ass PS3 I bought.... It freaking sucks. I have more time on it folding than gaming. How pathetic is that?D_Znuhtz
A fool and his money are soon parted. Guess you made a wise purchase, didn't ya?
Not to mention you're a FAKEBOY who's never even seen a PS3.
Â
Â
Haha. Think what you want pal. I own all 3 of them. The PS3 sits collecting dust. It is worthless right now.Â
I am slighly dissatisfied with my xbox 360 purchase. Let me explain.
I am a casual gamer, it gets played a couple times a week.
I expected more from the games (graphics and how fun they are) then I got. Now the key thing is, my primary dissapointment is with the graphics. I expected NO jagged edges on anything on any game...and that there was no chance at all that a game would look like just an upgrade of a regular Xbox game. The graphics are good, but I expected something similiar to what a top of the line PC gives on a top of the line widescreen monitor with a top of the line graphics card.
Now I'm slightly disspointed, not hugely dissapointed...and the reason is I was expecting too much from any system. In terms of graphics, I certainly wouldn't be any happier with the Wii (I think the wii looks worse than even the old Xbox) and I still think that, while I was hoping for slightly better graphics from the 360....that the PS3 is not any better.

Games like GeoW, RainbowSix Vegas, PGR3, GRAW, Oblivion are INCREDIBLE looking (most especially the 1st two), so really, whats' to complain about? :)Â
Out of the pile of responces we have here 3 or 4 negatives, pretty impressive.Riverwolf007
That's because there is so many games to play. I got my 360 Oct. 29 2006 and it hasn't even been a year an I own all these.
By the time 1 year rolls around I will own 50+ games. That is insane... I never bought that many in such a short time.

Sir, I SALUTE your dedication to the field :D I sure wish I had the money, and more importantly, the time to get into all those games with my 360.Â
Honestly if it wasn't for the bad failure rate and all I would say it's one of the best consoles ever. Very easy to use in terms of it's dashboard and all and easy on the eyes as well. Very user friendly IMO and then there's the games which are great.
And the games are great as well.Â
Most of the people who boast about the PS3s entertainment aspects have no clue about how powerful a 360 coupled with a networked media center PC can be. It's so awesome... it's as though Microsoft paid attention to the modded Xbox and made the 360 do almost everything that could do, but much better. It's amazing. Do you have transcode 360 running on your PC? You should... it will allow the 360 to stream any video file type. It does so many cool things, I'm not even allowed to discuss it 'round these here parts.ÂNot me, I love the 360.  Now with Vista, I am using the 360 as a media extender and streaming all my computer videos to it.  It really has become a central part of my living room. Â

Even if there were no games on the 360, I'd still use it every day because of it's multimedia capabilities. That's about all I can say about that.

I'm totally with you on this one. I use my 360 to stream all my media from my MACINTOSH to my entertainment center. Connect360 FTW!

im not happy 3 times the 3 red lights game over for my 360darcom1

Sure , only your post history shows u as a MS hating Cow who doesn't own a 360 at all .
Â
Mine is from March 2006 , never had a single problem and i love it .
The 360 is where the games are now , face it .
Â
I will buy a PS3 when the good games arrive , the price drops and the 65 NM chipset is used but i'm not in a hurry because the 360 kicks its ass right now .
I already own a WII , not much to play on it exept Zelda and Wii sports . Paper Mario is not out yet in Europe but hell . its cheap and a fun little system .
Most people who bought it like its games so it's hard to be dissatisfied with it after purchase, they also know that it could break on them.
I was considering buying one, but then when I saw it breaking on my friend after 2 days of purchase, and when I realized that most of its games were coming to my PC and to the PS3 I decided I won't buy one.
[QUOTE=";Adrian_Cloud";]Considering most of all the 360 titles i own are multi-play i might as well have gone with PS3, because it has superior hardware. I'm enjoying my Snes and Ps2 alot more than my 360.
I dont see the point in buying a PS3 to just play the same games avaliable on the XBOX360. Most multi-plant games are equal on both systems some even better on the xbox 360. By having the XBOX360 you are enjoying the same games that are pretty much equal on both systems but for around $200 less.
