Who is the best antagonist in gaming this generation?

Liquid Ocelot because you find out that he's not actually the 'bad guy', but a good/bad guy at the same time.

Another one I liked was Visari in KZ2, there's just this charm about evil empowering dictators I'm attracted to.

The best antagonist this generation IMO has been GlaDoS (the AI from portal).

Out of those probably Liquid. Dimitri from GTAIV was pretty good.. Kessler from inFAMOUS :P Also Colonel Radec is the baddest bad guy of all time

Two that come to mind

Andrew Ryan

The 'final encounter' with him is one of the most profound events in any game.
Fantastic storytelling devices too.

Lets just forget about Fontain. Ugh.

Another fantastic, compelling character and antagonist.

Saren from Mass Effect because he wasn't one of those really in your face villains, but you still knew he was a threat. Also, the one of the game endings with him is simply stunning, just because it showed that he wasn't in full control of his actions.

Mother ****ing Saren... hands down.

I would say uncle Paulie from The Darkness. He's such a huge dick, the whole game.

Dr. Peace from No More Heroes was pretty awesome, mostly due to his sweet moustache and singing voice.
