Well if you count ones not out yet. :P It is by far the best looking, simply amazing.FF XIV

Yeah, but technical quality can't really be argued, art-direction varies from person to person, I for one don't like the look of WoW.WoW's art-direction still trumps everything else.

Age of Conan is the best looking MMO by far, and it will probably stay that way for awhile.KHAndAnimethat's what i just said but people tend to ignore my posts.Technically this is way better than aion.
WoW. For a MMO Graphics King means both appearance and viability. WoW can be played on nearly all computers, while not looking horrifyingly ugly on high ends either.GhoX
That is your definition not mine.
Mine is what looks best and has the best technical aspects.
Guild Wars
Shad0ki11
Hahahahaha!
Did you seriously make that comment after I already posted a bunch of screenshots of a much better looking game?
Guild Wars looked good for an mmorpg when it came out but it has hardly gotten better looking and there are many better looking mmos.
Like Mabinogi Heroes.

How about Blade and Soul?
This is the one genre that being the graphics king of truly has no merits, of course thats to a certain point, no one wants to play an mmo that looks like its from 1995. But WOW's style, and gameplay quality are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than any other wannabee MMO, that none of them really matter anyway.

What's a wannabe MMO? I didn't think such things existed. Usually a game is either an MMO or not--no inbetween.

WoW is horrible to me especially the character style ewww...
It's just boring point and click.
I rather play a fast paced combo mmorpg like Continent of the Ninth or strategic mmorpg like Mabinogi Heores.
Both blow away WoW.
Also Blade and Soul is not out yet and there hasn't even been a closed beta or alpha in Korea yet.
I would know if there was because i would be playing it.
I think Blade and Soul is on par with Continent of the Ninth or maybe a tad bit better.....it's hard to tell when it's not even out yet.

Mabinogi Heroes is better known as Vindictus Online.
Mabinogi Heroes' title is too close to "Mabinogi Online", which looks like balls. I hated Mabinogi so much. My opinions on various MMOs are harsh for various reasons.

HAHAHAHAHA you point and click in wow?!?!?! No wonder you dont like it, thats the surest indicator of a complete nOOb player. The arena or BG's in wow are faster paced, and more intense than any other MMO, and the raid dungeons make any other mmo's just seem flat out pathetic. Really there is no comparison, unless your lying to youreself because you werent good enough to be in a top raid guild, or got smashed in pvp. Point and click muwahahahahahah!

It's very unusual for an MMORPG to not have point-and-click. How many MMOs have you played besides WoW?

Of course they all have clicking there for grandma, and pre-teens to use, but any good player in the high rated arena brackets, or world top 300 raiding guilds use these things called keybinds....and Warhammer, Aion, WOW, and little evercrack back in the day. Clickers...

Nah it is point in click even if you use WASD.
I like an MMORPG where each left click and right click does an attack and the faster you click the faster you hit.
And you link together combos that way.
I like that in Mabinogi: Heroes I could grab an enemy then smear him against a wall or throw him into a pillar shattering it.
Then I could finish him off by grabbing a piece of the pillar and smashing it over his head.
I like that I can pick up just about any object and use it as a weapon.
I like that there is strategy involved where I have to block at the right times to deflect attacks and counter attack.
I like that when I get hit my armor slowly breaks off in pieces and my weapons can shatter.
I like that each weapon has a certain feel to it some are slow some are fast some hit hard some hit soft.
When I block an attack depending on the weight of the force I can easily deflect it or be knock back 15 feet while sliding my feet on the ground and leaning forward to keep my balance.
I like that after blocking to many heavy attacks my shield will start to chip away and eventually shatter becoming useless.
I like that I can repair my armor while in battle by having my teammates protect me while I repair the pieces.
I like that there are weapons like spear, bombs and a chain gun.
I like How there is team work where 3 people can shoot their chain guns at a huge spider's legs and hold him back while the rest of the party attacks the spider. This is one of the most strategic mmorpgs with each boss acting differently and most requiring a plan before defeating him that requires precision controls.
I like how there are obstacles on maps like rolling boulders, spikes and much more.
I like how there is nice amounts of blood in the game.
I like how there is a good story and NPC characters get involved and do die.... sometimes bloody deaths.
I like the awesome music and bosses.
I think I made myself clear why Heroes owns WoW in just about every aspect.
I think I made have shown that Mabinogi: Heroes and Continent of the Ninth are the 2 top best looking MMORPGs out at the moment.
And might as throw in some EPIC boss music.

A pic of the castle outside the town in Heroes.
And a pic of one of the hardest bosses in the game who can teleport all over the place and is a b*tch to block and attack.
I'm not sure, but it definitely isn't a successful one. If you want to compete for a top spot, you need to have a large player base, meaning you shouldn't limit that player base to those with great PCs. WoW is so popular because it's a great game, addictive, & accessible to a range of PCs. The Old Republic seems to get it, looks great, on WoWs level, so it will be accessible. Now they just need to nail the rest of the content.
Rant aside, I haven't looked at Aion too much, but Age of Conan has to be up there. It's a shame it was so graphically demanding.

Except in player base & sales. Ouch. Also, I think WoW is a much better game then Heroes. That's an opinion, like yours, but WoW being the number one P2P MMO by a long stretch is fact.

Being popular doesn't always make it good.
I am betting of the people who play WoW most rarely have touched another MMORPG and they are like Apple fans who will dismiss anything else.
I am betting that just about none of the people who played WoW tried Continent of the Ninth or Mabinogi Heroes...mainly becuase they are korean only at the moment but they still are much better at gameplay and much more entertaining then spamming the same number keys over and over....
