Who is the XBox 1 Marketed for?

What if currently, all 3 of the consoles sucked in their own special way. Because they kind of do suck, in their own special way.

Well I haven't owned every single gaming device obviously. Since the Atari 2600 I've owned every major console, excluding stuff like the 3DO, Jaguar and TG16.

To be fair, I do own a PS4 and it's not like I consider it to be that much better. I only bought it based on past experience with Sony consoles, I've always gotten more than my moneys worth out of them.

But yes, you hit the nail on the head. Almost every game I care for on both Xbone and PS4 is also on PC and in better form.

What could the Xbone do to win me over? Get about 5 exclusives that I really want to play.

As of now I'm already feeling buyers remorse with my PS4 purchase. If I buy an Xbone now, I'll have twin dust collectors.

Anyways, these things come with time. I'm sure that eventually the Xbone will have what I need. I'm sure I'll own one eventually, but probably closer to the end of the gen.

As for now, PC + WiiU taking care of my gaming needs.

Did you put any thought whatsoever into your purchase of an Xbox One? Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 are two of the Xbox One's best games but they are both out of the question for you because you don't like racing games. Sunset Overdrive, which did very well critically and was a pretty big new IP for Microsoft (Insomniac had previously mostly made games for Playstation consoles), is also out because you "don't like cartoony styled skateboard games from the 90's with aliens."

Titanfall apparently is out of the question too because it's on PC, but why does this matter to you (I doubt you own a gaming PC)? Your last statement saying that "everyone switched to the PC version" is completely false. I own both versions of the game and the Xbox One community is still alive while it was pretty much a ghost town on PC a few weeks after launch. I had way more fun with the X1 version of the game too because people actually played it and enjoyed it, plus I had friends who played which never hurts.

It sounds like nothing on the Xbox besides Halo even interests you so why wouldn't you have just bought a PS4? Having said that, I own a PS4, Xbox One, and PC and haven't turned my PS4 on in months due to not having anything to play (that will change soon though once The Order and 2015's other exclusives come out). Infamous was the last good PS4 game and that took about a week to beat and came out almost a year ago. Yeah, the PS4 has slightly better multiplats than the X1 but the PC will still always have the absolute best version so that argument is out the window as well.

And how old are you? Jesus. Why the hell do you care about people "making fun" of a console or a game? Anyone who does that is a loser, just play whatever you enjoy. I don't play certain games to impress people or look cool.

The US market is very split at the moment, and gamers typically buy the same kinds of games for either systems. The only real difference I can ever see in trends is in the European market, which is Sony dominated. The biggest difference between those regions is Europeans have a greater propensity to buy auto-sport titles and commie football games.
