Who owns a PS3 & 360 but NOT a Wii?

So I just became the proud owner of both a PS3 and 360 today and the thought entered my mind that all I need now is a Wii to complete my collection but then I was like.

"Wait a minute, screw the Wii that **** is for women and children and something for the whole family to share with."

The Wii is innovative sure but I dont want to be standing up or swinging my controller around after a long day of school or work.

PS3 and 360 ARE the better systems. Wii just sells. Nintendo is just smart because they marketed the console to women and family men. Plus little kids parents wont feel bad buying a 200 dollar console when they can have fun with it too.

So i suppose MP3 and SSBB are also games for little children and soccer moms?

you just answered your own question, you won't see any blood or hear any swearing in those games. Those games are catered towards children man, SSBB ESPECIALLY. I can give MP3 some credit though, that game is more dark.

Technically I don't belong in this thread, but I do have two comments to make...

1. You're being rather sexist with your "geared towards women" remarks. There are plenty of female gamers out there, many of whom prefer the PS3 and/or 360 to the Wii.

2. You don't have to be standing to play most of the better Wii games. I only remember standing up for Wii Sports and WarioWare. LOZ:TP, RE4, SPM and MP3 can all easily be played sitting down, and the movement required for those games is not at all strenuous.

I agree with you 100% man. The Wii isn't that bad but its selection of games (third party games in particular) by no means justify its booming sales.

So a game has to have blood and swearing to be geared towards adults also? Is this honestly the thought process of gamers now? So sad what it has become.

PS3 and 360 are more the same, although 360 is my favorite of the two.

I mean, how can you get a PS3 & 360 instead of a PS3 & Wii or 360 & Wii? Sounds totally stupid...

Got a X360 at launch and I play it alot.

Got a PS3 in April and really don't like it all that much for games. I have NGS, RFOM, and HS but I mostly use it to watch a few movies.

I just don't understand people who just go ps360 and shun the wii like it's a demon child. The ps3's and 360's line up share many of the same games. If you get a ps3 or 360 along with the wii, you'll get nintendo's first party titles on the wii and everything else on the 360 or ps3. Of course people who get all three consoles win either way.

I have both a PS3 and a 360 as well, and am still waiting for Nintendo to give me a reason to buy a Wii. As things stand now though, I do not ever see myself ever even coming close to buying one.

I have been tired of Mario, and Zelda for years and Metroid is getting old .And there is just nothing else that I am even remotely interested in except for Manhunt 2....but I am getting the PS2 version of that one, lol. The Wii is just not for me at all. To each their own though.
