Who owns a PS3 & 360 but NOT a Wii?

The only games I'm interested in this gen are all available on the PS3 and 360. I don't care about Mario, Zelda, Starcraft or Crysis. Who are you to say that I made a bad decision? :?

you just answered your own question, you won't see any blood or hear any swearing in those games. Those games are catered towards children man, SSBB ESPECIALLY. I can give MP3 some credit though, that game is more dark.

Got ps3/360. No interest in the wii. They've abandoned real gamers with their gimmick and 6 year old graphics.

When I played the wii it reminded me of eyetoy. Fun for an hour, then you've seen it all. I might get one when its really cheap for MP3 and a new Zelda like i did when the cube hit $99. But its not a gamers console, its a family console.

Blood, gore and cursing doesn't make a mature game, it does however give it a mature rating. I don't know where this mentality of once a person reaches 18 he is no longer allowed to play games without blood, violence and cursing, I mean that is pretty screwed up. That attitude is why gamers are getting such a bad rep these days.

Blood, gore and cursing doesn't make a mature game, it does however give it a mature rating. I don't know where this mentality of once a person reaches 18 he is no longer allowed to play games without blood, violence and cursing, I mean that is pretty screwed up. That attitude is why gamers are getting such a bad rep these days.

The point the original poster made was that blood and swearing makes a game mature. I can name numerous games that have no blood, violence or swearing that are mature games. Secondly, you don't have to be a child to appreciate a well made game, regardless of cartoon characters with lack of violence.

So i suppose MP3 and SSBB are also games for little children and soccer moms?

Yes those games are for kidsmy 9 year old brother and 5 and 6 year old sister and nephew love those games. I must admit smash bros. is pretty fun.

I'm a PS3/360 owner I have two of the best systems out there that will have the best games. I may get a WII when its around 100 dollars because that is all its worth to me.

exactly, gamers really need to get away from the idea that if you 18 + you can only play M rated games, thats probably the major reason why the industry isn't taken as seriously as the movie industry..

and to supermanfarr, don't think you can mention your age and that somehow validates your opinion cos you may be 26, but you're still a likle bwoy, your attitude is anything but mature...

and 1 last point for now.. any game, that NEEDS blood, violence, gore, swearing... doesn't have substance...

lots of 9 yr olds love halo, probably more 9yr olds playing halo than smash bros. so accoring to ur logic, halo is a kids games

i was pretty close. but the wii was still new and fresh to the general public. i was on my way to buy a 360 with burnout revenge inside but they had a wii in so i picked it up instead after reading all the buzz how fun it was.then a few months later i start to hear how boring the wii can get. and after owning it myself i agree with them.

i recenly had a chance to trade my wii for a 360 elite. but that fell threw because his 360 elite was modded and i dont want a modded one...

so im stuck with a wii and ps3 danm hunny moon hype is a killer for the wii lol, if u go to a friends house to play it ur gonna love it. but once u own it for a couple months the controls start to get repetitive.

I just don't understand people who just go ps360 and shun the wii like it's a demon child. The ps3's and 360's line up share many of the same games. If you get a ps3 or 360 along with the wii, you'll get nintendo's first party titles on the wii and everything else on the 360 or ps3. Of course people who get all three consoles win either way.

I don't understand it either. esp with the high cost for the consoles the overlap just seems to make it not worth the purchase.

I only play on my Wii these days, but I do occasionally play the odd arcade download on my 360.... when I can be bothered to plug it into my TV.

The next generation of consoles really need to embrace 'wii controls' as it's very hard to go back to a normal controller, which puts me off playing a lot of 360 games now unfortunately.

My love of the Wii news service also ensures its constant connection to my TV every breakfast time as well :)

For one where is your proof about more 9year olds playing halo when the xbox and 360's primary userbase is over 17.

I never said Halo wasn't a kids game but I know most people who own nintendo systems are kids and this is coming from a guy who bought the cube even before I bought a ps2 or xbox.
