This... oh and as much as i dont consider uncharted or gears to be the greatest franchises, gears absolutely smokes uncharted in nearly every aspect of gameplay,... unless of course below average shooters and floaty glitchy parquet is your thingLet's take the opinion of a cow seriously who played Gears 3 on someone else's 360.

i think someone is running around with a name almost idenical to yours 0.o he has toad in his sig I believenever played Uncharted 3, but if it's anything like Uncharted 2 then yes, Gears 3 has better gunplay
honestly Uncharted 2 felt like I was using pea shooters.
The same goes to Halo Anniversary, BTW

Gears 3 has probably the best gunplay out of anything third person shooter in recent memory on consoles. Alhough if max Payne 3 is anything like it is on pc on consOles then mp3 takes the cakeGamingVengeanceI liked vanquish's better then uncharted or gears.
[QUOTE="locopatho"]I find them about the same honestly. Both excellent.BlabadonThis, except I like how in Uncharted pistols and grenades feel useful. I... what? Are you high? Well placed grenades in Gears are game-changing. And let's not even talk about the Boltok.

I don't see how Gears of War has superior gunplay over Uncharted. Only stupid Xbox fanboys would say that.

I don't think you or ispeakfacts could be more of a brainwashed tool if you even tried "anyone who says uncharted has superior gunplay over gears is only a stupid ps3 fanboy herp durp hurrr"I don't see how Gears of War has superior gunplay over Uncharted. Only stupid Xbox fanboys would say that.

Well placed grenades in Gears are game-changing. And let's not even talk about the Boltok. Of course sticking them on the walls can change a game, but I've already became super conscious of them whenever I played online. And throwing them means putting your weapon away, which I will admit is a strange complaint since I never complained about this in Uncharted DF. Another complaint I have about grenades (and yes, this is also slightly silly), is that there's an unneeded variety of them. Multiple types of grenades work in Halo but I felt that Smoke grenades just felt silly in Gears because I don't feel like using them in the first place and because Smoke grenades are useless outside of small maps like Thrashball. Feel free to educate me on the Boltok and the pistols of the Gears series side they all feel weak and ineffective to me.

I never used Meatshields in online play because I got easily shot in the back or side when I did. And pistols with AR never helped me much in any campaign or MP. Although I would not mind listening to your perspective on the topic since you probably have played more Gears online than I have.
Uncharted seris has the better single player experience and that is all I care about. I never play multiplayer in any games except Borderlands.

you either sucked at gears or didn't play it. which is it?
Gears of War 2 is the laggiest POS I have ever had the misfortune to play.
Also I'd just like to point out that you can't play on the dedicated servers in Gears 3 if you don't have the DLC
The gunplay in gears is pretty much perfect. Don't see how it could possibly get any better.Miketheman83For an "arcade" shooter, it is perfected. The enemies in the Gears series have absolutely no reaction to your billets hitting them unless it's a headshot with a devistating weapon, a shotgun, or a melee weapon. In UC, you and the emeny responds to every shot that makes contact. Overall gunplay, I would give it to Gears, but not by a huge bit though.

and that is all I can say to this part of your post.
[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"]MP can save you lots of money. If you like it. Gears 3 was great and all (even though the learning curve on that game with the community makes BF3 learning curve seem as easy as breathing), but Gears 1 & 2 didn't click with me at all. I found both game to have horrid MP, and I never was a fan of UC MP either.Uncharted seris has the better single player experience and that is all I care about. I never play multiplayer in any games except Borderlands.
