Fail.

It was the worst Spiderman movie, and simply a bad movie.  Hard to take a movie seriously when the theatre laughs everytime the main character cries.  The movie, I think, and from my buddies watching with me, failed completely in delivering a compelling finale.

The action was good, but the movie was too long, lacked direction, and honestly I lost interest after the first hour, and as soon as I saw spidey walking down Soho pointing at random women I was ready to walk out of the theatre.  I thought the movie was terrible.  The bright spots : loved the maitre'd at the restaurant, Jameson was great as usual, and I actually thought Franco did a great job with what he had to work with.   

ZOMG! Spiderman 3 is a good movie!!!! Spiderman 3 has the same font as PS3!!!! Spiderman 3 font make spiderman 3 a success, so the PS3 will be a success also!!!!

In my opinion, this movie will be the best movie of the month:

Personally, it was my favorite movie in the trilogy. Everyone is saying bad things about it. Yeah - there were some weird parts, but the movie was still awesome.

But this shouldn't be in system wars. 

Character development and good storytelling will always outweigh the greatness of CGI.  ALWAYS!  Battlestar Galactica on television is proof of this.  It is an outstanding show with good character development and storytelling...with CGI taking the backseat.   Bigger stunts, bigger explosions, bigger fights never subsititute great characters, character development, and great storytelling.   Spider-Man 3 may be one of the most expensive movies ever made...doesn't mean it is in anyway better because "teh CGI is teh awesomeness!"  Spider-Man 3 is falling into the trappings of other big budget sequels....less character development, story, plot...more CGI!  People are smarter than this and see right through it.  I fully expect Spider-Man 3 to have a higher dropoff in the boxoffice in its 2nd weekend than previously expected.  Bad word of mouth will be rampant.  AvIdGaMeR444

 Like I said in a similer thread, Shrek the Third will bump it, 28 Weeks Later will take a huge chunk from it and then Pirates will kill it off.

Just got back from watching SM3 for the second time with some friends.... The movie was the best of the trilogy! Best movie of the year as well along with 300. The only people hating on the movie are Spider-man comic book nerds with no lives that find one thing wrong with the film and go nuts. The movie was amazing, despite what the nerds saykrp008

I can find entertainment in movies with very little character development, some cheesy dialog, and some storytelling that is off.  I find movies that have good character development, good dialog, and good storytelling to be more compelling.  Matrix Revolutions IMO was far worse than the original Matrix.  Revolutions had more CGI, more explosions, a couple of HUGE fight scenes, but it was ultimately lacking the surreal atmosphere of the original and had far worse storytelling and character analysis.  Spider-Man 3 IMO is just like The Matrix Revolutions....bigger CGI, less of everything else that made the 1st 2 Spider-Mans great achievements.
