Who wants a Heavenly Sword sequel

I just finished it and it's awesome , I hope that Studio Santa Monica will make Heavenly Sword 2 after they get done with my most anticipated game GOW III.

What do you guys think?

I was just thinking about this yesterday, so I looked up Heavenly Sword 2 on Google. Apparently the sequel is written and the script for a third was in production but the original didn't sell well enough, so they adandoned it. I still have hope though... there's just so much character and style in the HS universe, I wouldn't want it to go to waste.

I would prefer to stab my eyes out and cook them over a hot oven.

I would really like to have a sequel, I was really unhappy when the project was abandoned.

It was like Uncharted; it was a fantastic game that was just too short.With a seaquel they could have expanded on everything and given us a great, lengthy game without having to fight so many "new hardware" battles.

I'm not holding my breath on this one, but I'm still hoping.

Yes, I'd love a Heavenly Sword sequel. The first one was a blast despite the length. If they added even six more hours to the game, it would have been a keeper. The graphics are fair and the combat is very smooth. I thought Sony could have had another icon to promote with Nariko but hopefully they'll push it further next time around. If there is one, that is.

I do, I thought the first was ok and a sequel would have had plenty oppurtunity to expand...

I loved the first game, quite underrated imo... Would like if Sony decides to support devs and release a sequel...

hhmm santa monica studios working on HS2... not a bad idea, but i am hoping another studio is already working on the game so hopefully we might seeitget releasedby mid 2011 :)

Btw maybe am the only one but i'd love a sequel to Folklore too.. I think Heavenly Sword and Folklore are both heavily underrated..

YES YES YES! it definately needs to happen, easily the best PS3 exclusive. Kind of makes me sad that were getting an uncharted sequal instead of a HS sequal even though they both scored and sold around the same.

Oh damn your right, i hadnt looked up their sales in a while. Regardless, the HS franchise has huge sales potential and now that its established, i really hope Sony doesnt let it just die off.

I blame cows for the hate HS gets. If it wasnt hyped AAA it would be getting alot more respect around here.

Sure, if they fix those horrendous loading times. Really, aside from the loading times, HS was a decent rental.

I really want to get into the first one and I have tried several times but something isnt keeping me hooked enough to keep playing it. Plus all the voice acting really grinds my gears.

Isn't Heavenly Sword only about six hours long? If so, I am thinking of picking up a used copy at GameStop, beating it before seven days are up, and then returning it saying I didn't like so I can get my money back. :P Sound good? But I would like to know the length first, so I can put aside some time. I should also probably beat Valkyria Chronicles first, since I am nearly done.DeathScape666

You could probably do it in an afternoon. I cant remember my time since i got it at launch but it was alot under 6 hours.
