Who wants Blizzard to stop milking WoW?

WoW's no doubt an amazing game, but Blizzard needs to get backinto the RTS game!

Starcraft 2... Warcraft 4... Or an entirely new project! WHO CARES JUST MAKE A NEW RTS!!!

Milking WOW? They have what, 1 expansion since its release? UBER MILKAGE! Blizzard is a weird company though. Diablo and Starcraft are some of the top selling games in history and we havent seen a Diablo 3 or a Starcraft 2 in like 10 years. :(Carmilla31

Blizzard is a bunch of greedy bastards. The only reason they haven't made a second SC or a 3rd Diablo is because the online was free and they didn't make as much money as they are with WOW. WOW is a great game, but FFS Blizzard, enough with your greedy selves. Give us something good.

I hate WoW so freaking much. So many of my friends from school and other people I know have become extremely addicted. They all just sit in a circle talking about what the did in WoW last night, and it pisses me off so much because their life is just an online game. Hey, I love my video games too, but playing until SEVEN in the morning on a school night, just to end up getting ONE hour of sleep? I'd never slip that far.iammason

 I agree. I know of 3 kids in my school who HAVE to have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from playing WOW. One of the kids made a bet with his brother. He had to get to level 60 in WOW In 2 1/2 days... He got a total of 2 hours of sleep in those 2 days to win the bet... That's what he said. He's just really addicted to that game. It's disgusting if you ask me.

Hellgate: London is the next "True Blizzard Dev Team" , before WoW retail "Blizzard North" left in one way or another, to for "Flagship Studios" , theres only pointless Everquest Developers left in WoW, and look what they have turned in to.

Blizzard label is about as useful atm as SONY. 

I've given up all hope for a Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2.  They're obsessed with Warcraft.  There have been 4 Warcraft games, 2 Diablos, and 1 Starcraft.  Diablo was released in 2000...there has been nothing but Warcraft ever since.  That is 7 straight years of Warcraft this and Warcraft that.  I hate the Warcraft universe.  WOW was completely unimpressive next to Diablo or Starcraft.  IF they ever came out with a new SC/Diablo game, I probably wouldn't get it since I've had no reason to upgrade my computer (still playing old Starcraft and UT2k4) and don't want to sink $800+ on upgrades.  Sorry Blizzard...you've lost another one.OceanLeet

You people who are complaining about WoW should keep this one thing in mind: Blizzard takes forever to release one game. Remember the Starcraft hype after WC2? How about WC3? WoW was supposed to be released in 2002. How about Starcraft Ghost, deep in development and ultimately canned?

I think Blizzard is learning form their pre-release hyping mistakes and waiting till their product is to their liking and announce it. Did you guys know that Blizzard is secretly handing out invites for a big event in South Korea? I'll give you a few seconds to figure out what that means...

They have not announced a single title or even suggested that they were thinking about working on a new title since WoW was announced. They've spent years making WoW and the Wow expansion pack. They even canceled Starcraft Ghost. When you consider how much capital, how much success, and how much esteem is pouring into Blizzard's coffers right now, there is absolutely no excuse. They're milking WoW for all it's worth.

Warcraft is great. I began with Warcraft II...it brought me gently into PC gaming, along with Command and Conquer and Red Alert. I love Warcraft III. I have played no game as often or as much as Warcraft III. World of Warcraft sucks, however. But Warcraft is at least as good a franchise as the other two. 

 Do'h was my insight ignored? You guys know Vivendi has a strangle hold on Blizzard like EA does to all its companies? its all about maxing profits, WoW profits goes to Vivendi's large larger debts, not alot goes back into development as we might all of hoped from the beggining.

it's not like there's been a lack of good RTS's recently. Company of Heroes and C&C3 come to mind.

Milkage?? They have only had one expansion for WoW. They release new stuff free all the time.Want to talk milkage look at Sony and Everquest. They release a expansion like every 6 months with not much added. I played WoW for over 2 years and thought the way Blizzard treated their WoW community was great. Sure problems here and there but overall was great. Would I like to see a new Diablo? Heck ya. They do not have to rush games out as fast as most developers because of how much money they are making of WoW though.Eltroz

Its what the guy said how they give free stuff away... ohh please... so does Guild Wars... and there is actually free. ALso, I hate MMOs I am just stating that game is a perfect example of how MMOs should be.

Yes, it is a good game... for an MMORPG... but I want Starcraft 2 and Diablo III. At least they could release the code and materials used in Starcraft: Ghost... :(foxhound_fox

WoW is definitely NOT milkage... it took over 2 years for an expansion to come out, and they charge the same monthly fee most decent MMO's charge.  Plus, they always add lots of new stuff and people love it.  People aren't cheated in any way.

theyre not milking it in the traditional mario/ final fantasy sense, but more like they're devoting all their resources to it.
