There were some great characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

BD-1 from Star Wars: Fallen Order.

Hands down the best droid to grace any Star Wars medium. Yes, better than R2 and C3PO.

It's like...if you took a chicken and parrot hybrid, then gave it the grace of a lemur or something, the loyalty of man's noblest dogs, the investigative skills of Sherlock, and a whole bunch of hacking skills...then put that into a cute little droid package that rivals the appeal of WALL-E....you get BD-1.

No characters really stuck this year, every time I think about newish game characters. I'm getting things from 2018 still.

Can I cheat and say both the main character *and* Kim Kitsuragi from Disco Elysium?

Either are fantastic characters by themselves, but their buddy cop pairing is solid gold.

I didn't play many games but Balex is the one character I liked in bl3. The other characters in the game were trash though.
