Who would you rather have buy out a gaming company? EA or Microsoft?

Whom would you rather buy out a company EA or Microsoft? Think really carefully before making your decision, and if you can, please explain why.

Personally, I feel I would lean more towards EA - since I think they are not as notorious as they were 5 years back, when they would buy out companies, and let them die out. Such as their purchase of Westwood, and what appeared to be the fall of the C&C series. However, in recent years, I think they have been doing a rather great job, in comparision to their past.

One thing I do hate about their PC side of things, is EALink and it's flood of issues.

Having Microsoft buying it out would mean a few things. Most notiably, that game companies game assets being exclusive to Microsoft consoles and the PC. Aside from that, I don't see how Microsoft could offer to that gaming company, that EA can't.

If to many companies get bought out by EA, every game would be multiplatform, which would cause the quality of the game to suffer. And every series would be rehashed to death.

And Microsoft sucks simply because they only allow their game on one system, Xbox 360. Although I guess this isn't so bad, because that usually means the game will come out on PC eventually.

Also when they ruin PC games that are under them with their stupid LIVE Crap.

I'd rather have more EA multiplats than 360 exclusives.

Agreed I hate missing out on games on consoles I do not have or can afford at the time.

It's like asking if you would rather be stabbed in the eye with a fork or a pencil.

I just don't know...

EA is doing fine now, both companies appreaciate the importance of the PC market.

I want Take 2 to go to EA, so I can get LA NOIRE, which wont sell on the PS3.

EA is a multiplatform company...but if they had they're own system? lol all they're games would become exclusive to that system....you could have given an 3rd option like say...nintendo... or sony...

But there is no surprise in the TC's choice.

EA: It'll end up on every console but likely to bad.

M$: It will end up on the 360 first and eventually pop up on the PC.

I'll take M$.
