Every since the rumors about it started, I decided to wait before I got one but now that it's not a rumor, I will be getting one now as long as it's not to high in the price. I spent $800 for the ps3 with a extra controller and a game so i guess thast my limit to spending for the 360 too.

To me buying another harddrive is a waste of money, think about what I could buy with that $150? I could buy a DS and a game if I wanted to, or I could be only $100 away from buying a Wii.
What's funny is that if anything this will help Wii out, a lot of people seem to generalize that a console costs X amount by looking at the highest price, and with two consoles near the $500 and $600 range Wii's $250 is going to look great to a lot of people.

HDMI should have been included in the original 360. Plus the $100 20 gb hdd is a big enough rip-off. Imagine the price of the 120GB. Microsoft is gonna double dip already. I thought it would be at least year 4 before we saw a new 360. OH Well.rockydog1111
If they had added that feature from from the begining the 360 would have cost more.

I still feel bad for the original buyers of Xbox360s If you spend that much dough, you'd like to see your piece of hardware be the best thing MS has to offer for this generation To get an update so quick is like a slap in the face Yes, it still plays the same games Yes, it's still the same system But you just get that feeling it isn't the best thing out there from MS anymore My personal opinion but I'm sure that one a lot of people will shareasmallchild
Why? They seem to be enjoying their consoles quite a bit.(That is if it doesn't die on them) That aside, I don't have any problems with it. Anyone with a pea sized brain should have known it was coming...After MSs big thing with this generation has been giving the community the ability to customize the 360 in many ways..This is just one more way. All the original owners really have to do is buy the larger HD...
I just feel pissed off that the people who bought a 360 already (all 10 million of us) are getting screwed over. And I'm expecially pissed at Microsoft because my 360 JUST BROKE :cry:hummer700

seeing as it will probably be more expensive, given the choice between both right now i would still choose the original premium. simply because im not somebody who can afford a 60" 1080P tv with surround sound and media centers, i dont download tons of stuff from the marketplace and living in canada i cant use the movie service, i also really like the white look of the console already anyways. i bought a xbox 360 to play xbox 360 games, any multimedia that comes with the price is a bonus to me, im not going to pay extra simply to look at a nicer display and hold more demos on my hard drive. im sure this package will be great for people with money to burn on entertainemnt centers, but definitly not for the average consumer.

Unless there is some ridiculous advantage that I absolutely need to have it for, I really don't care about this supposed "Zephyr." I already have that transfer device for my hard drive, so I use my external computer hard drive for storing pretty much everything I'm not using at the time, and I don't really want an X360 with HDMI. The only HDMI slot on my tv is currently being taken up by my comp *shrug*.

Don't have an HDMI TV, so I don't care about that. Still have at least 6 gigs on my hard drive, so I don't care about that. In other words, this doesn't matter to me at all
The only significant difference for me is the larger HDD. But it's a pretty safe bet that a larger HDD will be sold separately as well.
360 is already capable of 1080p games through component. I can see how it's important for PS3 since Sony has an agenda with Blu Ray. For 360 gaming, HDMI is a non-issue.
The new SKU is a marginal improvement, but nothing anyone should be spazzing over. Yes, fanboys, I'm looking at you.

Actually, All of this speculation is over a controversial, possibly non existent, Inside source from an Australian game chain known as "Myer" ( sorry if thats misspelled.), Posted on a quite unreliable blog several weeks ago. I'l wait until M$ tells us about before its confirmed. Its not a game chain, Its a department store worth millions
I don't care about the new Xbox 360, because I don't even have an HDTV. I just hope that Microsoft will release the bigger hard drive as a separate add-on.
