whos breaking down and buying a 360?

i own both so i mean it is what it is......but i have some hardcore ps3 fanboys, to where sony is practically theyre religion. theyre damn near losing theyre minds because they can't play black ops online, like 4 of them said they was thinking about getting a used 360 since theyre dirt cheap for online....anybody else thinking of doing this also??

no way , i have such a singleplayer backlog on ps3 that the psn outage probably wont be long enough to get rid of it , and even if i would be desperate to play online i still can use my laptop to play some counter strike , l4d2 or guildwars

Other than deciding to buy a few DS games instead of a few games on the Playstation Store, I haven't noticed.

Not me. I'm extremely satisified with my PS3, it's practically my entertainment hub for Music + Movies + Gaming (even though I have a seperate stand alone Panasonic BR player)

XBL isn't free and the only games I care about is Halo series, The Orange Box and Left 4 Dead series.

I have family members that have 360s, I'll mooch off them.

And because I'm usually busy, I'd rather stick to just one console and make the most out of it, especially with the backlog of games I've yet to play.

*cries* I know I am...I'm so sorry my Cow bretheren but I have sinned...I purchased a 250 gig 360 slim holiday bundle with Alan wake and Forza 3 pack in....I also preordered gears 3 and got in on the beta... it only cost me 310 dollars....*feels better after confessing* please forgive me...

I don't think I ever really go online with my ps3 that often. Probably wouldn't have noticed psn was down if it wasn't for all these headlines, or if I wanted to use netflix. I am glad I didn't buy the ps3 version of portal 2 otherwise I wouldn't have been able to play it on my pc

No I will not spend $400+ because PSN is down for a week. The weather is getting nice anyway. Maybe they should go outside and do something, or do kids not do that anymore because the sun puts a glare on their handhelds?

if recent rumors of a new system are to be believed, I'd not buy an xbox 360 now

if the online is considerably down for months then i would think about a 360 even tho i think there library is worse....

then again i can play things other then fps games....so i will be ok compared to the FPS addicts

or possibly pathetic spoiled brats who do nothing but play online games...People its only been down a few days and some of you act like its a matter of life and death.Weathers awesome we've had amazing sunshine the past week here so i couldnt care bout online gaming when i can go out for a nice cold pint or a game of football over the park.Or generally chill out in the sun with the bird in my back garden.

Nah,I´m pretty cool with my free,stable services,I´m not going to pay to play online.

I already have a 360 that still remains unplayed during the psn outage , I think I'll give him a breath of life only when gears 3 releases.I'm using this time to plat those games you leave a few trophies left due to laziness lol.

I think serious console COD players should probably be on XBL anyway, more sales, more competetion and early map packs.

That doesn't make sense, why would anyone pay at least $200 to switch from free MP to paid MP just because the free service went down for a week? :?
