im sorry the Wii is just a joke. they dont have any multiplatforms. so many AAA games and like a million AA really good multiplatforms games arent on Wii and will never be on Wii.

Now that Metroid is over #3 of their big three you better used to defeating King Bowzer and Ganon and saving Princess Toadstull and Princess Zelda every couple or every several years.

I think the wii is winning. Why?

1. It's not just that it is the sales leader, it's because it's sales leader even though the 360 had a year head start.
2. Devs are taking notice of the wii's success and are rapidly switching over development time and effort over to it, which we should start seeing into 2008 and beyond.
3. There is excitment for the wii, both within the industry and in our culture, where it is quickly making a name for itself whereas the other systems are considered just another video game system. Any gamer who isn't obsessed with numbers and industry news wants to have the wii, as well as people who have never gamed before.

The biggest arg against the wiii is that the 360 is winning is because the 360 has the most games. IMO, if this were a foot race, then the 360 would be ahead, technically, but the wii is rapidly making up the ground. Wii is the fastest runner, although lemmings can argue that the 360 could still speed up again. We will see

This is where wii looses. Wii will obviously sell more now because its offering something new and especially it is offering for kids and chix.So, it is selling well now. But when you look at 360, you will see it not only has more games but also it sells alot more games. 360 is designed for the hardcore fans, people who don't want to play games they live games. so, a 360 customer will buy 5 games while a wii buyer will buy 1. So, this where is the profit.

Moreover,Wii has simply below graphics.Its of ps2 standard. You know ps2 still dominates the business because we haven't got on to next gen yet.

But when it does in the next year or so,the wii games will simply won't be of standard. Yes,it has motion sensing and all that. But its ultimately about the experience in the end.When ps3 and 360 starts to make photo realistic games,

wii will look like cartoons. So, thats when wii bonanza ends. Thats why most analyst don't deem wii a winner because they know it will loose this at some point. what 360 has done really well XBL. Really, the future of gaming is online as we live in myspace, facebook world now. People will drool on XBL which is really what makes 360 the ultimate winner. Finally, 360 has halo and gta. Which is probably sealed the deal for ps3. Ps2's popularity mostly depended on GTA games. Now they don't have that. So, 360 will win in the end.

Games- Clearly 360. Inarguable.

Value- I define "value" as the utility the system provides after you buy it. Being that 360 has the median price, but the best games, I have to give this to 360

Technology- PS3 is impressive with it's "cell powerzzz", but the best looking game is still on 360.

There was no official standard set. Over 5 days people voted games over sales, but the way to score that was never agreed on. And thankfully, that system is clearly long gone.

I think 360 selling more games is a fallacy. If you look at the start of the year to the end of June, very few 360 games sold well. Here are the top 10 selling games during that period:

01. NDS Pokemon Diamond Version
02. Wii Play w/ Remote
03. NDS Pokemon Pearl Version
04. PS2 God of War II
05. PS2 Guitar Hero 2 w/ Guitar
06. 360 Guitar Hero 2 w/ Guitar
07. Wii Mario Party 8
08. 360 Crackdown
09. NDS Diddy Kong Racing
10. Wii Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

The only ones that made the list are Guitar Hero II at #6 and Crackdown at #8. That is not exactly setting the sales charts on fire. 360 has one good month out of the year and everyone believes that every game on there sells very well. Of course, Nintendo 1st party sells the best right now, but very few 3rd parties have made any good quality games for the system. If 3rd party devs will make good quality games like Resident Evil 4, then the games will sell.

As for graphics, if that were a problem, no one would be getting the Wii. The fact that people are choosing fun over graphics shows that people don't care as much about graphics as you're trying to make it out to be. In fact, the PS2 was outselling the 360 and PS3 for many months, once again proving that graphics don't matter. So graphics are not a good argument in favor of the 360 and PS3.

And if XBL was that important, then the Xbox would have won last gen. Not too many people care about XBL. If they did, then all 10 million 360 owners would subscribe to XBL, not the 7 million who are on there. In fact, MS has included both gold and silver members as using the service, but we all know that only gold members pay for their subscription while silver is free. That further downgrades the 7 million number. This shows that online is not as important as you're trying to make it.

Also, only MS fanboys care about Halo. It didn't help the Xbox win last gen with the first two, it won't be the defining game that will win this war for MS. GTA is still on the PS3. The GTA audience will be split into two. 360 is not getting all of that.

Lastly, the 360 can't win without Japan.
