Dude, I get made fun of for my patriotism, I favor 360 because it's an American company in a largely Japanese dominated market, but what you just posted was absolute blind fanboyism, imo. If it makes you happy, by all means. But I have a lot of stuff on my 120 gig hdd, and I wish I could get a 250 gig 3rd party for like 100 bucks for it. Why so serious?:lol:Nice[QUOTE="cainetao11"][QUOTE="InfinityMugen"]
Its costs more. So you know you're getting a better deal in terms of quality.
Besides who needs 500GBs of space to play games, movies, music and hold pictures?
All that extra money goes to microsoft to ensure better accessories in the future.;)

i cant believe that lemmings , feel its ok for MS to charge so much for 2ogig HDspike6566Who am I to say what any business can or can't charge for what they offer? I don't buy what I don't value. That's my answer to any company. But sitting on a BS moral pedestal, dictating to others what they can or can't do with their business is against the free market system. Try it the North Korean way if you want, I'll stay with this system.

i laugh so much purely on common sense basis.Besides HDD's tend to be the more reliable component of a machine. So by your statement its better to pay £100 for a specialised part than to pay say £50 for a standardised one? heres from a design point of view this will really help you out in why you are wrong.
Let me first begin by scruitinising the more specialised nature of the 360's HDD its limiting to the consumer base as there is only incremental upgrades and at this current moment are capped, also the fact that MS's specialised HDD is nothing more than a normal HDD with a specialised adapter and in a sense is just a perfect way to nickle and dime you much like memory cards last gen.
Sony has the right idea, it costs less to buy in these HDD's than it would cost MS to produce their most specialised one thus in essense sony is saving cash on the SKU manufacturing. Also it gives the consumer a much bigger choice and prices are much cheaper as Laptop 2.5" are standardised parts sold at any PC store really...
Who needs 500Gb is a pretty futile question aswell, as you download demo's most of which are getting into the territory of 1.5gb now so im being honest as time progresses with the system its going to become more worth it and you can acually never have to much storage when it comes to PC's imo same goes for consoles in this day and age.

you left out. 360 hd dont make you install game data in order for games to be played on your 360. because it was built for the xbox 360 only. unlike what sony used. Please Log In to post.
