Very bad sign for Blu Ray that Paramount and I forgot the other studio is going to HD-DVD exclusively. I wonder why? Once Hollywood execs start talking and scheming they are doing it for a reason. Look for more studios for more defectors.

Dude, paramount is just ONE studio and they were offered like 150 million just to go exclusive. Thats just the HD DVD camp grasping at straws. Blu ray still has the major studios and is selling software twice as fast as HD DVD. Not to mentions 4.2millions blu ray players in peoples homes in the form of PS3s and millions of blu ray games being played every day.

Can't tell who's is winning to be quite honest. Blu-ray looks like a better format. But honestly it's stupid for anyone to jump on the band wagon yet, I can't even rent blu-ray or HDdvd movies in my area and I live in a pretty big city.

Paramount/Dreamworks is only the second studio to go HD-DVD exclusive, the other is Warner (correct me if I'm wrong). Blu-Ray still has Sony/Columbia Pictures, Disney, Fox, and several others I dont remember at the moment.

The only way HD-DVD will win the format war is when the HD players that play both formats is released at a reasonable price. Why? HD-DVD is cheaper than Blu-Ray. That's why HD-DVD will probably win, even while Blu-Raymay have a great start.
