Why are cows hyping Ninja Gaiden: Sigma?

is it me? or does anyone else not understand how much self-ownage cows induce by using NGS as part of there "OMG PS3 had teh best games!" 

I had the original Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox 3 years ago.  All sigma is, is that game in HD with a few more levels and another playable charecter.  I mean its the 3rd version of the same game if people waited out for Ninja Gaiden: Black

Dont get me wrong, itll be a good game, and no doubt look nicer than NG and NG:B, but its been 3 years and another gen, why would lemmings be bothered by that?

Plus, we are getting a new Ninja Gaiden, thats not a remake and is a new game, hope u like Sigma, maybe ull get the new NG in 4 years...boy ur reaaaaaaaal lucky

Why should anyone be bothered by anything. We have the physical ability to get all 3 systems and enjoy all the games if we choose too.

1) arguably the greatest game on xbox

2) gameplay looks like it will still hold up and the graphics look sublime

3) cows enjoy these types of games

4) It will be a AAA game 

 Even a lot of Ninja Gaiden fans are excited about it.

You assume that NG2 wont come to the PS3 soon after, the truth is Team Ninja tried being exclusive with MS and it didnt turn out so well leaving NG and NGB sales to be poor.  Now NG can be found on the PS3 and even the DS, I wouldnt assume so much that NG2 will be exclusive to the 360 for any length of time.  Now thanx to Sony having a Japanese fanbase and 360 not having one, they can actually sell a good Ninja game in Japan.....hmmmm wonder how well that is gonna sell.

Team Ninja is going where the money is and multiplat is their choice, its better you learn to except it.  Oh and "cows" are happy about NGS because its a game built from the ground up for the PS3.  More then a remake with improved gameplay mechanics, more moves, extra character, dual weilding swords, running on water, HD, etc.  You see NGS is giving an entire fanbase that didnt pick up an Xbox last gen. to play one of their best games, new and improved.  Most Xbox fans didnt even play NG so its fanbase is pretty small and now it has a chance to expand it.

im not saying this wont be great, if u actually read the post, i said i HOPE u enjoy it, but i see people saying  "mass effect, and halo 3 suck" we have FF 13, MGS4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma......etc. it just stuns me to try to prove how the PS3 game lineup is better when weve had that game for YEAAAAARS...ApocalypseXIVV

Seriously though in one of the mags he stated that he finds it annoying when people call it a ramake.

ya they say that cuz xbox fans also post up games that they claim are better.  ex.  this xbox fanboy posted a really really bad pic of lair and compares it to kameo, dead rising, and tries to claim ownage.  thats how it is in system wars

NO no, 20 million is plenty for it to have beaten worse games like 50 cents bullet proof or SP: Cell 1, but the truth is people chose to play alot of other games over playing NG.  As for 360 having a bigger fanbase, we shall see what happens, so far they are focusing on the same region that made the Xbox "successful" which is NA.  It doenst have much of a European fanbase and no Japan fanbase.  NG2 is along time away from coming out, Sony will have a big fanbase by then and for NGS it will have a nice size fanbase as well.  There was 1 million PS3s in January in Japan, I am very sure by june there will be alot more then that and as for Japan being their target audience, I never said that, Sony is thier target audience with their love for hack and slash.  It will sell well in NA, Japan, and Europe with the PS3 fans.

NJ Sigma is an enhanced port. No doubt about it.

If ya didn't own an XBOX and own a PS3 then I'm sure its a good way to enjoy a game most people didn't get a chance toplay.

The same as GH II coming out on the 360. No big deal but good for those who didn't play it on the PS2.

Still not as bad as Sheep hyping RE4 on the Wii. A port of a game that already existed on TWO last gen consoles.

Envy? I dl'd the demo and played it on my 1080p set. It still feels the same as playing it on the Xbox, except the first level is a tad different at the beginning.

Blame the gaming companies for milking or the gamers for continually purchasing.

What I don't understand is where you draw a connection between hyping Sigma and using it as ownage.
I have an XBOX, and I have Ninja Gaiden Black. It's a great game, that I really need to beat.Does it make me look forward to the game less, no, in fact I'd bet a large number of people who will get Sigma had the original on the XBOX.sdelaney86

Fanboys try to claim ownage, and most people who try to claim ownage end up looking stupid.  There is nothing wrong with wanting or liking any games but trying to hold a game over other gamers head is just pretty dumb seeing as how gaming taste is an opinion.  That goes for any "breed".

You do realize that most gamers didnt play it last gen because most gamers didnt get an Xbox and even within the Xbox fanbase, most of them didnt even touch the game.  I dont think people should hate on NGS or the fact that most likly NG2 will go multiplat, that is the only way this series will continue to live, its not very profitable exclusive but being multiplat will alow it to make enough money to keep devs investing time in this series.
