Why are cows hyping Ninja Gaiden: Sigma?

Sure it does. If people keep getting excited over ports and remakes, then developers and publishers will wait even longer to make sequels. Look at Far Cry, Resident Evil 4, and NG.

It really has nothing to do with hyping it... everyone already knows it's a great game. I had the original NG on xbox. I didn't bother to get NG:B... so Sigma will actually have a significant amount of new content for me. There may be some PS3 owners that never owned NG at all???

Either way the jump to HD with the new content is awesome any way you look at it. It's not about hyping the game, it's about having another great game on the way in a month. As another poster said, lems will be just as excited about forza 2 here in a bit. People tend to get excited about games they want to play ya know.

Simple, it will shut alot of people up about ps3's graphics.

And this game did not get the sales it deserved on the xbox imo. Definetly the greatest xbox game. I hope the japanese will buy a ps3 for this and see its glory.

It depends on the system price and since it's coming out for the Nintendo DS too, they should'nt have a problem racking up sales.

If you have played Ninja Gaiden there's a big chance you won't be excited for Sigma.

If you have never played a Ninja Gaiden game there's a big chance you want Sigma. 

I have Ninja Gaiden and I don't even feel like getting Black because it's basically the same game. The same goes for Sigma, I'm waiting for Ninja Gaiden 2.

Ninja Gaiden 2 will most likely timed exclusive.

Fanboys try to claim ownage, and most people who try to claim ownage end up looking stupid. There is nothing wrong with wanting or liking any games but trying to hold a game over other gamers head is just pretty dumb seeing as how gaming taste is an opinion. That goes for any "breed".

EXXXACTLY...if any of u bothered reading the damn post ud see i didnt say not to be excited, im glad u get to play it, its an awesome game, but its one of the stupidest things to use it as an agrument against Xbox owners game lineups, or say, "but we get NG:Sigma, Mass effect is teh downgrade!" cause as much as u think they changed things around, its the same damn game...reeeaaaaaaaaaaaaad the POOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSTTTTTTT 

Sigma is pretty different, its a whole new engine, whole new environments and whole new charaters. The fact Ninja Gaiden black could still get AAA with using the same engine shows that remakes or even re releases if you like of a good game, are well still fantastic. I just hope they translate into some good sales figures.meischris39

  haha you have never played Ninja Gaiden Black, have you? it's the exact same thing with changed weapons and another character playable. The reason they didn't make it on the 360 is because xbox players have already played the game. Too bad this game will be received badly though, since cows have always hated Ninja Gaiden and preferred God of War and DMC and have always bashed NG.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma has slightly better graphics than the Xbox version....absolutely pathetic.  The graphics should be DRAMATICALLY BETTER!

I don't see what the big deal is either.  NG is a good game and all, but I'd rather see some new games than remakes of old ones.

Well maybe they say these things because of alot of lemmings who use to talk down on ps3 games such as devil may cry 4, gta, and other games and when they finally hear news it is coming over to there system they do the same thing. Yay we have devil may cry 4 and this and that. It doesnt matter but the thing u fanboys need to understand is NGS>>>NGB>>>NG and this is in everyway. Even the director himself said this will be the best version out of the three and if this game sells well, look for NG2 to also be coming to the PS3 and Itagaki also stated in one of his interviews that ninja gaiden wouldve been on the ps2 aswell but due to the hardware not being able to handle NG it was impossible to due so, but now that the PS3 has the hardware they finally brang there franchise over to the PS3 and look for the franchise to come to the PS3 if it sells well on the PS3, which we all know it will sell very well on the PS3, and I have played the original ng and ngb and ngs has just sold me into buying this game aswell just because of how kick a** the double katanas are. I cant wait for this game and NG2. :)

You guys are gonna get pissed when you have to fight alma, i think thats her name, believe me, you will get so frustrated when u get close to winning on ur 100th try then die, overall love the game, still haven't beaten it, :cry: , i'm pretty good, i just hate waiting for it to load on my 360, takes forever, gohan_3

I thought she was pretty easy but she will be a headache on the harder modes since they prolly will add some crazy ninjas into the mix to try an distract u while she is the main focus, but im gonna let my Ninja Magic and my double katanas put an end to her, even though u do fight her twice, I am looking forward to what NGS has install for us especialy with the new challenges that await us with the new enemies that the original NG or NGB didnt have, and is why I am gonna be buying this version aswell. :)

Imagine RE4 announced for the 360 with Next Gen Graphics, and new items, character, stage.  Anyone in their right mind would hype it.

In the end of a video interview with Ittaki, its not been 'offical' but he said he is working on a new game that needs no introduction.
