Why are Lems hyping Gears 3 graphics?

I played it 5 times at PAX East and i can assure you all it doesn't look as good as Uncharted 2, God of war 3, Killzone 3...etc Now what?Nolakk

Gears 3 actually looks really great. From what I have seen it is a larger leap in graphics than from Gears 1 to Gears 2.

he didn't prove he played it or was there...someone else whom played it gave proof.

Because the game looks good?

You can say it doesn't, just like you could say that Uncharted 2 looks better than Crysis, but that doesn't change the facts.

What is the point in arguing when the PC blows them both away?

Alan Wake looks better, why hype something that is already beaten on that Platform. Its like Cows hyping Ratchet All4Ones graphics.

Indeed it looks great, actually it looks almost as good as the first gears game that came out on the pc on 2007.

Alan Wake looks better

because there is nothing else big like gears (other then forza).....so they will worship the game for the entire time. putting all there eggs in one basket doesnt end well.

From what I've seen, Gears of War 3 has closed the already small gap between the PS3 and 360, visually. The game looks amazing in motion.

But seriously, aside from the massive amounts of hyperbole that gets thrown around here, the 360 and PS3 really aren't that far apart on a visual level even without Gears of War 3 being on the table.
