Why are my fellow Lemmings hyping Fable 2?

Sales don't determine floppage here, smart guy. GS scores do. Otherwise, people wouldn't be able to bring up the 8.8 score when talking about the godly Twilight Princess.

Exactly.  Sadly this is the second time I've had to do this in a day, but here is a quote from the informational thread regarding what a flop is: 

Flop- A game that has not lived up to System Wars expectations, such as when a game is hyped AAA and gets below AAA status, or when a game is hyped to a certain score and fails to achieve it. DOES NOT determine the worth of the game.

I wish people would stop making up their own definitions of words here.  Just read the informational thread, it's not that tough.

no..on gamespot is was hyped to get an AAA rating and it failed to do so..therefore it is flop on gamespot..no excuses

Fable is my favorite xbox game, and those who own a 360 (not just “lemmings”) have reason to look forward to it. I’ve played Morrowind, and consider Fable to be far superior.

I didn't understand what was so great about the first one, it flopped, it was a dissapointment, it was supposed to be the "Morrowind killer" but it wasn't, whats the big deal?NicktehImperial

I played both of those games, I finished Fable, then played it again.I thought it was too short, but I could see the potential for something really cool.  Unlike morrowind (spent 3 months with it but never beat it), the combat system in Fable was great, you had complete control over your character in a battle.  You can also customize your fighting style through use of magic and that lends itself to some deadly combinations.  In morrowind, the combat was just odd, so much that I tried never to have to fight in that game and instead resorted to scheming and back stabbing.

now with the sequal to Fable on the way, I can't wait to play that game, the first one was over when it was starting to get interesting.  Oblivion, I've been intersted in playing, but I'm just afraid that it'll be just as bad as Morrowind in the combat area, which really makes or breaks that gaming experience.
