Why are Nintendo games more successful than Sony and Microsoft games?

Because anyone that has some form of videogame knowledge can acknowledge what's great about BotW and how it's different and evolved from other open world games, while people who've never played it dismiss it as just another unworthy Nintendo game.

And i did play your little Zelda game. Forced myself to play it for over 20 hours just to see if it gets any better. The only thing i can say that i enjoyed are the vistas and the map itself. Reminds me of Skyrim, a game that had nothing going for it but those two things.

Didn't know you play TLoU2, but I've seen you mention the first game. But ok, you probably just have shit taste, got it.

I like open world games, just not your shitty ones, and shitty ones is not what's missing. What's a shitty open world game? All AssCreed games, Horizon, Skyrim, RAGE1&2, all FC games from FC3, Days Gone and a shitton of others not worth mentioning.

What's a good open world game? Divinity 1 and 2, Fallout3, NV, Fallout4 with mods, Oblivion (for its time), Morrowind (for its time), TW3, RDR & RDR2 (for nothing else but the main story and side quests), soon to be CP2077, etc.

And i call bullshit you haven't seen me post about TLOU2. I'm the only one defending the damn thing on this site.

Many gamers grew up on them, creating nostalgic attachment, family friendly, cheaper hardware and deserved or nor a reputation for quality titles.

They make high quality games that are very accessible and incredibly fun. Their games release in a very polished state and hold their value for years instead of hitting the bargain bin months later. They’re probably the most consistent developer around.

Gotta love the logic of "Nintendo just makes the same stuff all the time" (which is true) and this gen has been almost nothing but sequels, reboots, and remakes on every platform. People are saying they want to buy a PS5 to play the Demon's Souls remake, the sequels in the Gran Tourismo, Ratchet and Clank, and Horizon franchises. Face it people this is true across all gaming- there is no gravity in using it as a point against any company.

I can understand why he clocked in 20 hours and thought that was enough to know the whole game; most Sony exclusives are 10 to 20 hour games. Can't blame him, when his baby butt has been powdered for so long by Mama Sony, it's hard to imagine anyone else changing his diapers.
