All Cows have left is this title and MGS. After that, all they can tout is watching BluRay movies on their video game console, or go hang out at "Home", which is home of the worlds biggest virtual sausage fest.
I liked Killzone's story, its graphics were pretty good for the PS2, the concept was pretty cool and most of the gameplay was solid enough. The only MAJOR problem was its framerate. Look I've played every noteworthy FPS on PC and all consoles in the last 10-12 years I don't see the hate from fanboys. If Killzone 2 polishes the original's gameplay and gives it top class visuals at a smooth framerate it should be a great game, unless fanboys still insist only AAA equals ''great''.
Sony is actually developing the game this time around and the team is bigger and probably better.They probably put together the right engine for the game and they probably have a nice blueprint from Insomniac on how to make a great game and how to get the most they can out of the hardware at this time.
The great thing about the game was the story , the grit, and enemy. If they take that potential and nail that world and put the work in that is necessary it could be great.

Gears is known for the graphical whoreness that it is. The overwhelming graphics is partly why it was GOTY. Face it, every time a game raises the bar for visuals then it gets highly appraised. Killzone 2 can potentially do this. Having over a 6-10 hour game shouldn't be that hard to do and I imagine multiplayer will be good to boot but we won't know harder facts until later.
