Whether it's long or short doesnt matter. It's the replayability that counts.

At least Halo has a solid multiplayer to back it up. Uncharted is a SP based game

It is short. 8-12 hours with no multiplayer or strong replay value is short.

Most people will beat this game in 10 hours.

btw, length =/= quality.

Shadow of the Colossus, Heavenly Sword, and God of War are examples of that.

Uncharted has great replay value too.

Sounds like God of War length to me, and those games rated high and I enjoyed them a lot. Also, Uncharted looks like it's going to have way more replay value than GoW -- so yeah I think it's a good value for the money

Yeah I dunno why people love to bash anything without a never ending campaign. 8 hours was standard last gen so I don't see what the problem is. I mean like every 360 shooter has been 6 hour games so they really have no room to talk. Plus 8-12 hours of awesome diverse gameplay is much better than stretching it to 20 hours by being repetative and bland.

Srsly, longer games seriously can get boring especially if they don't have a strong story(one of the reasons why RPGs can last 40 hours and still be fresh). Some games feel like they just drag out just to make the game longer or no reason.

It's one of the reasons games like Ninja Gaiden was weaker than it could have been.

Eight hours might've been standard. But standard games are usually A-AA though.

oblivions story was bad as japans version of godzilla, yet it may aswell be the largest sp game ever

if uncharted was 20h+, u would be crying that short game sux and be pointing your finger at halo
