Why are PS3 fans so bitter about Mass Effect?

This guy is ridiculous he is argueing over who is the biggest nerd on a gaming forum. I mean its bad enough I owned his 360 is a Shooter Thread into lockage but this is just sad.

- DnDers (check)
- Role-players (the non-sexual kind)
- Hardcore Star Wars fans (check)
- Trekkies (check)
- Hardcore gamers (check)
- Hardcore anime fans
- Forumers (check)

I actually agree with shungo. Since Youtube and Myspace have taken off it's a lot less nerdy to be on the internet now, even posting in message boards. I wouldn't classify myself as nerdy but then again, I wouldn't classify myself as a hardcore gamer either.

Not that there is anything wrong with nerdy people, just pointing that out.

Well, I myself do not apply any kind of "nerd" connotation to enjoying those things. As long as I do not start dressing up and going to conventions, I will be fine.

And D&D owns any video game RPG.

I must be living under a rock, I thought we were still at 2.0. :? I don't know a single person in real life who browses internet forums on a regular basis (other then myself), and I'm friends with many 'hardcore' gamers, and 'nerds' of many types. So enjoying an IP is considered nerdy, but arguing over videogames in forums isn't? What is this world coming to?

It's where I played most of those Xbox 1 games last time around, on the PC. KoToR 1 and 2, Jade Empire. Halo, Fable, Escape from Butcher Bay...Waiting does not mean a thing to me. I operate on my own timeframe.
