[QUOTE="duble_Needler23"]well...some say it's laughable because it really looks almost EXACTLY LIKE the PSP...well...has always looked. It looks the same. Yea it's smaller, and thinner...but prettier? No, it's always been "pretty" (lol), and it still is. It's just a letdown cuz...ya know, a system redisign usually consists of a big makeover. And the difference between the DS and the DS lite was CRYSTAL clear. I guess some people were just expecting something...more. Maybe a second analog stick? Or a "flip" design? Those would have been cool.Tnasty11

I'd say too little too late, DS already has the momentum and I don't think Sony can really do anything to turn the tables on it.iunderstand

How dare you tell him MY opinion :P

- The Lite actually looks different.

- Putting in the ability to stream your Playstation Portable's content onto a T.V. is not very smart.

- The DS Lite added in a full brightness level

- The original DS's problems were solved via new power button placement and an improved stylus.

Please, don't tell such blatant lies. I actually own both and no, they do not look thesame. The DS lite design looks and feels vastly improved.

[QUOTE="flashattackfina"]the DS got the same improvements so the DS is a failure too?NorthlandMan

The DS had barely any problems to begin with. The only problems with the DS were the brightness and the form factor. The PSP has more problems then it has watered down PS2 ports

Are you in every single thread that has to do anything with the PSP? Anyway, it is a pretty good redesign. Lighter, slimmer, more efficient, faster loading, HD video output, and 64 mb Ram. Gamespot said in the Hands-On that the D-pad and buttons felt better overall. And it is the same price as the original so sooner or later if you want to buy a PSP, you will have to buy this one since the original will be discontinued.

do sheep still exist

i mean cmon, did anyone else see the Nintendo Press Conference?

Wii Fitness?!?!?!?

R-Dot-Yung

Don't start.

Although Wii Fit was kinda nice, the real megaton was the balance board. Imagine playing games like Tony Hawk in it! That little piece of hardware is very advanced.

The new PSP is just a video output and thinner.

And the PSP is still unusable for games. The button placement is very bad and the analog stick still gets in the way.

meanwhile I can barely tell the difference between the psp and the redesigned version aside from it being lighter and slightly slimmer. The original ds was a clunky beast, so I'd say the redesign was needed.
