Pro is not poweful enough for 4k with current gen graphics. It should be use to perfect native 1080p games with better effects, higher framerates, etc.
Battlefield 1, Tomb Raider and Infamous are the perfect examplesof how it should be used, imo.

im pretty sure the final dev kits arent out yet for the pro. but then again developers haven't had alot of time with the hardware
I'm pretty sure that's a horrible, and incorrect excuse for the pro.
Because they want to keep the frame rate consistent for online play since otherwise it's an arms race on who can get better framerate.
More like getting under 16ms of lag. The only thing that matters in regards to frame rates are the dips. Problem is console owners have no real clue what their real time frame rate is per second. All they want to hear is 60fps which is now being used as marketing BS.
The PS4 "Pro" is like two PS4's duct taped together, so of course it's not going to be 60fps and native 4K. Only when the much superior Scorpio hits will we finally see a plethora of native 4K games on a console.

That's objectively wrong, the only thing that matters are dips? Fucking bullshit.
It's objectively better to have a stable 60fps than a stable 30fps, especially when it really comes to count like in hack and slash games and stuff like dark souls.
God of War 3 is objectively better on merit of it's higher settings on ps4 than it was on the ps3.
@vfighter: ps3 is not more powerful then 360 not by a long shot. Ps4 is more powerful then xbox1 but only by a 10% margin
Design decision.
30fps= more cinematic
Also 4k checkerboard = full 4K due to Sony superior engineering, so full 4K is a waste of resources.
