Why are you not playing the God of War Ascension MP BETA ?

I have clocked over 10hours and i find the free for all four man gladiator styled game mode to be addictive. There is something really good about having to earn each kill with all the skills you have learned unlike shooters where the battle ends too quickly. This one actually takes skill and aggression to get every kill

I downloaded the beta, but haven't touched it. I suppose I haven't played it because it's extremely rare for me to enjoy an online multiplayer. Besides, I'm completely hooked on DmC right now anyways

I cannot speak for him, but in my opinion, it felt like the series kind of stagnated after the first game. Gameplay only had minor adjustments and enemy types have remained largely the same throughout all three games. Of course I played all three games over the course of one year so perhaps it would have been better to have a bigger break in between them. They are all fun, but they're just too similar each time.

Doesn't appeal to me. Would rather be playing Sleeping Dogs

It's a good MP and its free on Psn I believe so I don't really see an excuse to hate on it, meh.

One might argue that the beta has a time limit on it, but your backlog will always be waiting for you.

But knowing myself, I'll probably end up playing Ascension somewhere down the road. I mean the franchise is still good, and definitely worth playing. I just feel that there's been a stagnation, and in some ways a decline (especially with respect to the storytelling).

Yeah Raptr never updates all the PS3 games I've played either. The time played is always off also. However it does show you at least played some PSN games..invalidating dissehowedo's theory that you've never touched a dualshock.

I have zero interest in God of War.

I just don't think it's very good.

I can understand why people would not be interested in a God of War multiplayer, heck when they announced it, i also had the same impression. However after playing it, especially the free for all mode, i can tell you it gives a good deal of satisfaction, the thing is, before you can actually get a KILL, you have to go toe to toe with your opponent and have to use your tactics to out sword them, after you do defeat them, what you get is a rush of adrenalin for a job well done. Unlike say Call of Duty where a few bullets and its all over already, i urge who hasnt tried it to give it a go and be suprised like i was. Also most people would assume its a button mashing game, just give it a try n watch yourself get slaughtered if you do intend to go button mash, heck you can button mash on Mortal Kombat and win but not this

I can see where you guys are coming from....i kinda liked how the mechanics stayed the same and didn't change too much over the course of the franchise. It kinda felt like it was one big game vs 3 for me.

3- Try the MP (it should be free by now for all users I think).

You'll be surprised :) I didn't think it would work all that well at first too. I tried and I loved it. It makes you really use your skills and create team/single strategies to do good. Pretty fun IMO.

Particularly Hades, what weapon and powers does he give you? I think it might be a spear but who knows. This game is gonna be amazing, maybe even more epic than God of War 3!

I would stay silent till i see more single player, but this multiplayer has me :), and yeah Hades n Possiedon could have something spear like, mayb even chain blades but then again there could still be more to Zeus and Aries in the final version :p
