Meh I don't know neither one has me real jazzed to be honest. I think the to sides are so desperate for bragging rights they are looking at these games with tainted eyes.Gaming_Guru_Guy
Are you talking about graphically or on a fun factor?

Just kind of overall. The graphic fidelity is very nice for both but nothing I don't expect from either system. The whole sequelitis thing seems to have gotten the best of both of these. The only thing in R2's favor is how bad the first one was so anything will feel like an improvement. The battle gears has is the first was so well liked I know they will not stray far from the tried and true meaning more of the same at the end of the day.

If these two games arent something for gamers to get excited for, then what is? Seriously?

I honestly find my thoughts sometimes drifting to the next gen already. I am not sure I can get overly excited about another game using UNREAL ENGINE 3..........

I just say how I see it through my eyes.

I can understand that... but I'm loving most of the titles out right now, and cant wait to get my hands on both of these games.
Gears of War 2 looks awesome.
RE2 look. visually looks great, but not so much gameplay...but i will have to play it, due to the fact that some gameplay changes have taken place for the better.
TC, your either blind or biased...what is it, PC or WII?

PS3 and XBOX 360 is what I have. I have an Imac as my computer so as far as me being biased that theory will not hold up.
I agree 100% TC. Between the Gears 2 videos and playing the R2 beta I dont think I will be buying either game. They both seem like expansions more then sequels, both gameplay and graphics wise.
I guess I'm also getting burnt on every damn game being a shooter. At least Dead Space and MGS4 offered up a break from the usual gun show this year, but I'm really waiting for more RPGs and adventure titles. Fallout 3 is the only other game I'm looking forward to this year and even it has shooter elements. I need FFXIII, a new Zelda and a new Team Ico game now damn it!
If ur a pc user then i dont think u will be impressed by graphicssandeep410
I am not a PC gamer I have a mac which runs my WOW at about medium settings so it's no graphics monster.
here's my ten cents
Gears 2 has great graphics but looks even dumber than the first game and a third person shooter is not impressive any more.
Resistance 2 has inconsistent graphics and the gameplay looks exaclty the same as the rubbish original, but they're putting a lot of effort into the different modes
