why can't halo fans accept that some people dislike halo?

To me, it wasn't a good game. I just didn't like the gameplay. But when i say this, all halo fans go crazy and act like i dislike it for bizarre reasons. A 360 is the only console I own. So i do not hate it because of the hype, i am not a cow, and I am not stupid. why must halo fans act like it is impossible to dislike halo?

Well, Halo 3 was outclassed this gen by games like COD4 stealing their marketshare and even GeoW gaining old Halo Fans.

That being said, Halo is fun, but to each their own. It's not really a mindblowing game that invented anything, it's just a standard shooter that has super polish, so enjoy that for what it is! :)

Wow, that is a great question. I hate when I say the game is average and I get like 5 people saying it was the best game of all time and that MLG gamers play it. It gets annoying guys...

This is what this whole debate is about.

Nice tongue in cheek attempt and trying to be subtle, but with opinions like this "Halo 3 was out****d this gen by games like such and such...." is simply your opinion but don't try to state is as fact to some major trend "even Geow is gaining old Halo fans" what are you trying to imply?

This is what gets some fans up in arms.

Lol, way to generalize and entire fanbase. But the Halo nation isn't at all a stranger to this. I really don't mind if a person dislikes Halo, but to see several threads on it at Gamespot a day is pretty annoying. Especially considering the game has been out for nearly two years. People have had plenty of time to ***** and moan, it think it's about time to complain about something that actually matters now/vashkey

I think its a good game, Ill probably be buy ODST the day it releases...but Its still just my opinion that its good....

I don't own a 360, but always accepted Halo is one of their greatest games. However, all the praise threads and threads like 'Halo is the God of games' really makes ne think it is overrated.

Because, according to halo fans, halo created the FPS genre. therefor any fanboys from previous FPS are non existant because there was no such thing as FPS before halo...even though goldeneye outsold it.
