why can't halo fans accept that some people dislike halo?

To me, it wasn't a good game. I just didn't like the gameplay. But when i say this, all halo fans go crazy and act like i dislike it for bizarre reasons. A 360 is the only console I own. So i do not hate it because of the hype, i am not a cow, and I am not stupid. why must halo fans act like it is impossible to dislike halo?

Halo is indeed a good game, but I don't like for my own reason. With that said some fanboys won't agree upon that unless you accept their own opinion whether it is liking or hating.

Why can't "some" Halo lovers accept the fact that KZ2 is a good game too? and they end up throwing numbers knowing that KZ2 (KZ1 sucked) is not as famous or successful as Halo(Halo 1 & 2 were a success) and the argument loses its touch by then.

It all began with halo:ce! First i want to say this can be subjective, cause halo:ce is IMOthe second best game i ever played (after OOT).

For hermits: The game was praised as one of the best FPS's ever on any platform (This sentence is from the gamespot review). And hermits were treatened by it! Many gamers said it was the best game they ever played, how can that be, with the so called inferior controls!TheFPS genre with always be in hermits hands! But halo:ce took them by surprise! Since then, they fought back! They always say FPS' on PC al better.

For cows: Halo:ceis also thegame that saved the xbox. PS2 was a superieur console, but it didn't have a game like Halo:ce! Halo was becoming verry popular, and many cows began hating it! Lemmings used the succes of halo! In the first three years it was their heaven.

For sheep: A year after halo:ce was released, they got metroid prime! So sheep never had much of a reason to hate halo! They had a game similar to halo:ce, and it was praised just as much! I think we have to talk more about metroid prime! No one mentoinsit! It was such a great game!

For lemmings:they hailed it as the best FPS ever! As the father of all FPS's! That's whylemmings aren't liked. They only see halo!Like it's name suggests, halo:ce was an evolution, not a revolution! It did all things right! But we can't forget there were awsome FPS's before halo, and there will be after halo!

With halo 2 the succes was increasing! Althought the single player was disapointing, the multiplayer was awsome! A new milestone for consoles! It even won multiplayer game of the year over ut 2004!! Again the game was hated and loved by many!

Halo 3 was rated the first 9.5 in the new gamespot reviewing system! It was a complete package, that many loved! But since halo:ce, also hated!

No , its almost always Cows that bring it up or make topics , most Lemming have gone past it and play other games although online it is still one of the most populair FPS on Live , even Halo 2 on the Xbox is but

whenever a new FPS comes out for the PS3 its alway " The Halo Beater " or " Better than Halo " and ever years after Halo 3 you still see topics of Cows hating it .

Catholics don't want you to not believe in jesus because they think something bad will happen to you if you don't. It's not really comparable to system wars, just because you don't like halo doesn't mean you will go to hell. There is so much hate on the internet...

The problem is when people say Halo sucks, or Crysis sucks. They weren't bad games, but people bash them for their own personal satisfaction. Maybe someone dislikes halo being an xbox exclusive, or they dislike it because they were dissapointed by it due to hype, some people might dislike crysis because they couldn't run it. Some games are genuinly bad, and you can say that with evidence to support it, it's just that people get lazy and say a game sucks when they really mean they just didn't have fun playing it.

I can understand if you don't like shooter AND Halo. I can't understand if you like console shooters but not halo.

Maybe because regardless of your feelings for the game itself, you'd have to be an idiot to deny the impact Halo has had on the industry as a whole? Just spitballin'...

Because everyone who bashes it never gives any legit reason. The only things people say are "it didn't do anything new!" (which means Fracture is better since it did something new) or "COD4 is better"

Well, Halo 3 was outclassed this gen by games like COD4 stealing their marketshare and even GeoW gaining old Halo Fans.

That being said, Halo is fun, but to each their own. It's not really a mindblowing game that invented anything, it's just a standard shooter that has super polish, so enjoy that for what it is! :)
