Must be cheap where you live thats all I can say, here in the UK Premium Xbox360 = 280 ( $550ish ) + 45 for 1 year LIVE, + 40 per game, and you have 6-7+ games? 600 Quid PC (In SEPTEMBER) would be a Dual Cored , 8800 easily, (Assuming your just buying the tower and have monitors ect)..... Damn was your 360 off a back of a lorry or what?

How convenient to leave the Price of Pc games out. Everyone has a PC but not everyone is willing to spend the kind of money to get the latest and greatest. I don't know anythign about quid but here an E6600 will run you $300.00 alone.

Because you can get PC games for near half the price of Console games even near release? and well, heh you know the FREE alternative for all single player games. E6600 is not even needed for crysis, you can get the 1.8 MHZx2 model which is half the price and overclock it, and on the 22nD of April the mid/high Core 2 Duos are have a 30% price cut, and an additional cut early Q3..... so around Crysis time, not to mention 8800 series prices will drop when ATI cards are out. Costs about 30-50% more than an Xbox360 to completely overpower it, while the games in the long term are cheaper, and upgrading (Providing you was smart enough to buy a Mobo/Case Size with room for improvement in the future, will end up costing you again simlar to the Xbox"720" in 3-4 years time.... Only people who buy from Rip-Off Pre-built companies like DELL think PC gaming is more expensive long-term (I DID come under that category, lessons well learnt)

Hmmm...Real Life has some pretty nice textures but the lighting in Crysis looks a tad bit better. And they care about it because PC gamers are always bringing up how Crysis smashes console graphics, which it does by the way.

Far Cry brings back memories. I heard it was so good but that game is so bad. The Xbox version is actually much better. Graphics don't make a game and if Pc gamers want to spend x amount upgrading their PC just for this then that is their choice. i play 2 pc games and my rig is e6600 and the 7950gt. I know i wouldn't be able to play this game with those kind of graphics.

You are right you wouldnt because it is DX10.:P, but you are very foolish to think that you can not run the game well and have it look fantastic at the same time. Oh and the Xbox version of Far Cry is trash.

And most of the pics you have seen have been in DX9. I don't upgrade for one game. It's not like when I upgrade, the only game that I can play is Crysis. I can play every freakin single PC game that is coming out. I can't stand when people say that.

I know, but it might not be at that level of quality, then again DX10 was not out when those screens were taken. So I guess he is just being foolish.

I don't know if my Pc can max it out or not because the PC is a funny thing. I saw a comparison between the DX10 and DX9 and it looks really average with DX9

True True, I'm upgrading in september, so I can play UT3 & Crysis & Quake Wars, but saving hard, so it will be a Quad Core with perhaps even 8900, to play anything within the next 3-4 years, because Quad Core is a gigantic leap in technology, and since DX10 is new, it wont be oudated for that period of time either.

I don't care about Crysis. All I've seen/heard about it is that it has wicked graphics. Since I don't have a gaming grade PC I don't see any point in discussing it......... yeah

Yeah, FarCry's MP was crap. Crytek even admitted it. It was just a filler. But now, they are putting just as much effort into the MP as the SP. Read about Crysis' MP mode, "Power Struggle". Sounds awesome. They have 120 working on the Crysis, instead of just the 20 that worked on FarCry. They also have a $20 million budget.

Yes, the multiplayer was not good. But Far Cry Instincts multiplayer, though better, still sucked. But PC Fc's singleplayer was incradible at worst. FCI sucked ass

Indeed. FarCry was meant for SP. This time though, the are supposedly spending equal time on both, and MP won't be just a filler, like in FarCry.

Power Struggle? Where can we find this info? I noticed i nthe Multiplayer Videos that when a player killed a player he gained "Prestige points" any light on that? (Far Cry was one of the few FPS I havnt played, if it was in that maybe).

Far Cry - extremely lame gameplay.

farcry had lame gameplay? can you at least play the game before you comment on it?

Far Cry single player was Ok but multiplayer was garbage. the multiplayer was much better on the Xbox

Yeah, FarCry's MP was crap. Crytek even admitted it. It was just a filler. But now, they are putting just as much effort into the MP as the SP. Read about Crysis' MP mode, "Power Struggle". Sounds awesome. They have 120 working on the Crysis, instead of just the 20 that worked on FarCry. They also have a $20 million budget.

Power Struggle? Where can we find this info? I noticed i nthe Multiplayer Videos that when a player killed a player he gained "Prestige points" any light on that? (Far Cry was one of the few FPS I havnt played, if it was in that maybe).

Far Cry brings back memories. I heard it was so good but that game is so bad. The Xbox version is actually much better. Graphics don't make a game and if Pc gamers want to spend x amount upgrading their PC just for this then that is their choice. i play 2 pc games and my rig is e6600 and the 7950gt. I know i wouldn't be able to play this game with those kind of graphics.

The Xbox version wasn't even made by Crytek. It took away the open-endness which makes FarCry what it is and so great. FarCry for the PC is much better. Unless you like simple run n gun shooters, then play FarCry on the Xbox (which wasn't made by Crytek). Oh, and your rig will max out this game in DX9 easily. And most of the pics you have seen have been in DX9. I don't upgrade for one game. It's not like when I upgrade, the only game that I can play is Crysis. I can play every freakin single PC game that is coming out. I can't stand when people say that.

Doesn't matter it was still better. the multiplayer on the Xbox is 10x better than the Pc version. Did you play the PC version online? It is horrible and many who have played it will agree. I don't know if my Pc can max it out or not because the PC is a funny thing. I saw a comparison between the DX10 and DX9 and it looks really average with DX9

Theres not alot of diffrence between the DX9 and DX10. Since most of the screens and vids are done in DX9, you can't say it looks average because in DX9 it kicks **** of any game out there because they pushed DX9 to its limits. I don't know where you got the idea it looked average in DX9.

You can ignore all Crysis screens and videos for the moment, according to Lemming logic the game will look at least twice as good as it currently does when its released.

I love system wars. People always talking about how "OMG TEH GRAPHORZ MATTER" then when PC is brought up graphics are suddenly the devil and graphics intensive games are automatically shallow.
