[QUOTE="DaGamingGod"] Don't get me wrong. I love my PS3 console but if you think about it, why would a non-first party developer bother spending a massive budget and a couple of years on creating a game that is only for the PS3 when they can spend less cash and less time creating the same game on the 360? It's not as if the PS3 can output visuals that the 360 can't. Take MGS4 for example. It looks nice but I"m pretty positive that the 360 can output the same visuals. Maybe even better. I'm guessing that down the line, development costs will be down and it won't take as much time to develop on the PS3 but then again, developing on the 360 will cost even less and take less time to create great games. What do you folks think?

I think you need to back up that statement.
Everything that I've read is the PROBLEM is not as big as you think when making 1st party titles for PS3 right now. How can you get so many great titles from Insomniac or even from Naughty Dog (uncharted was the best game I've played this gen)
The real issue is developers choose to try to port X360 code to the PS3 on multiplatform games.......it's one of the reasons why Sony has been trying to convince everyone to use PS3 as the lead console, this way it's much easier to port the game to X360.
This post is really funny considering you say "spend less cash and less time creating the same game on the 360".....you really need to back that up.
The 360 is basically made up of PC parts. What developer isn't used to developing on that kind of hardware? Devs wouldn't have to take time and money to learn how the Cell works and instead concentrate on what they already know.
