Common sense and social behavior toward ps3. Ps3 was much more expensive so not many kids bought a 500 dollar gaming system. Because the anonymity of the Internet affords people the opportunity to act any way they please without having to be accountable for their behavior. Simple really. You can bet your life that they wouldn't act that way face to face. It's cowards coming out of the woodwork.

The PS3 hasn't cost that much for a good long while, does that mean no ones bought one since?

So what are the sophisticated, well mannered, wise and aged PS3 players playing, some sort of classical ballroom dancing simulator? I heard about that, it was gonna go multi-plat and those sophisticated fanboys went nuts and made petitions and websites and prevented it, celebrating with a black tie tea party. :roll:

As for common sense look at ps3s price point during the last few years compared to 360. 360 muliplate wise was seen as doing the same for cheeper + halo, l4d, geow, ect. Parents would much rather buy the 360 or wii for there kids then a ps3. To casuals ps3 is just starting to take off as a better product.

I played live back in 03 to '04 and people were actually decent, but when Ibought a 360and signed back up for live, it's like human eveloution took a step back. Litterally people spouting the most hateful and slanderious things to eachother, people sayingperfectionyou suck **** perfection, perfection you suck **** when they beat the oposite team on halo 3, people saying to hispanic people, hey mexican, stop speaking mexican. If its not that, people singing in their mics thinking they actually sound good, or you have people who team kill for vehicals in the online shooters. The list never ends, and lest not forget the people who are stupid enough to say they sell weed to their mother and saying their my mom, they don't get any special treatment they are just like any other customer, really?

People are idiots, they always have been, which is why people on Xbox Live or any online service for that matter will usually be idiots. I guess you just got a lucky break on the old Xbox Live.

I find it funny most of the time. But there also is a mute button

Unfortunately the anonymity and physical distance from others which comes with playing games online allows people to be annoying horrible ignorant idiots with none or very little consequence...

You gonna run into such people no matter where your at PSN or Xbox Live. I hardly run into them on either, though I don't play Call of Duty or Halo.
