I do it for the LULZ.
Also, for the feeling of inner joy, happiness, and satisfaction that I get seeing the enemy's exclusives flop.
i find seeing lemmings damage control more funny, plus wenever i guess a score for a 360 exclusive it ends up getting that haha

^ this, although I think Ninja Gaiden 2 isnt truly as bad as they say it is.
The biggest complaint I have with it, is that the level design is so bland past the first 3 areas its not even funny.
The response is what makes it fun. Crackdown flopped, but I still loved it, and when the forums lit up it was kinda fun. I loved R&C and when that flopped, again, it was fun watching the responses.
Lets face it, you should not care what a review site says about a game if you already know you want it and you will enjoy it, and those who do care enough to make tons of topics about the bias and account suicide are fun to watch.
Its like people-watching at the mall.

Nothing beats the Twilight Princess incident. that was epic and i was ashamed to call myself a Zelda fan after that incident.

Ratchet and Clank was horrible. I was real pissed off at Aaron Thomas and got suspended for being a little audacious. :P Too much variety, though... that's ridiculous.

Exactly, alot of my favorite games got bad reviews (Stranglehold, Munch's Oddysee, Stranger's wrath, Legacy of Kain: Defiance, Street Fighter 3, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Silent Hill 4, Silent Hill Origins) but I still enjoy the hell outta them.
I like the way all the people who've posted so far say 'Because they're stupid fanboys', as if they never do it themselves >:D.
This is system wars. WARS. WORS, as some would spell it. I like it because it's funny to see all the threads attacking/defending the game, and the occasional conspiracy theory, like 'Stalin stole my watermelon'. We haven't actually seen that one yest, but we will.
We will.
:D
only petty fanboys do it beacase only on this site they can say its a flop but outside of here there useles, but i love how they try to make out its a flop everywhere and all people think like themMiss_Wacy
I'm far from a fanboy, but if you take this site or any reviews serious enough to get emotionally mad about a person's opinion, or come up with wild conspiracy theories over a review, you need to re-examine your core values, and for me, those exaggerated responses are quite funny.

I admit that I got mad at the R&C review, and its mostly that event that caused me to re-think things.
After all, I don't stop liking the game because of the review, so why not just detatch SW and my own feelings, and have more fun with it?

I was about to say it's pretty sad that people like to see a game flop, but then I realised that it's just a friggin' video game forum in a website with zero respect and credibility. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.Floppy_Jim
Good point, games aren't really important anyway. They've gone from being simple time killers to a huge industry, what ever happened to mindless fun?
PS3 game flop, lems celebrating, cows complaining how bad lems behaviour.....
360 game flop, cows celebrating, lems complaining how bad cows behaviour.....
See don`t complaing about fanboys behaviour especially in SW.....

very true, but LOL ive seen fanboys lose it on here and go into full damage control mode beyond anything wen a game gets a bad review or someone says anything about there console or game
alot of the fanboys are ignorant for example a owner for all systems may want to get a game on there system of choice and the fanboy would call them a fanboy beacuase there not getting it on the system they like, ive seen that thrown around loads and i just think its stupid and false.

Exactly. We are all here because we love gaming, and its a great place to talk about games and gaming with others who like it on a similar level. But at the end of the day, I play what I like, you play what you like, and if they differ, should I really care? No. Yet some people love trying to convince others that their choices are the only correct ones, and those fanboys are the little spice that keeps SW enjoyable and funny above the "real" discussion that can occur here.
But its nice to have a place where gamers can talk about gaming among other fans.

He won't.
He stole one of my friends mums second cousins twice removed uncle on his fathers sides melons after he jumped out at him from a bush. Or so I'm told.
Damn commies. Stalin steals watermelons more than he stole Hitlers personality.

I picked up TimeShift super cheap. And its really close to mindless fun. Its a solidly average game, but it keeps you shooting stuff real nice, and the time powers are quite fun.

I know, and there's so much negativity these days- it seems people spend more time complaining about the opposing consoles flaws than playing their own. People just take it far too seriously.

Bingo. I don't personally wish this for any game per se to flop. But we gotta have them to shake things up around here. It makes coming to work more interesting. Especially when I have little work to do. I need to do something to fill my time. Reading fanboys go into DC is pretty funny.

I had to steal your sister's melons. Stalin made me do it. He said he'd kill my cat.

I had to walk three miles, up-hill both ways, in quick sand.

exactly. NG2 flopped. that was awesome. it would have been awesome if Halo 3 and Brawl flopped.

It's just sad imo. People are so insecure that the money they invested into their system would lead to it being the inferior one that they respond by enjoying the fact that a game does badly on the oppposing system.flowdee79QUESTION ANSWERED!

I doubt fable 2 will get above 8 but it won't stop it from being one of my favorite games for 360.Please Log In to post.
