Why do people think Killzone 2 looks bad?

Why do people think Killzone 2 looks bad?

i want to know, i guess excluding the textures bcz im almost sure in the months guerilla has they will fix that, but why do ppl bash it and say its going to suck, all i heard about the KZ2 pre-alpha demo at E3 was good (again excluding the textures)

are people jealous, or is there a truth i'm not seeing?

I second that, and add the gameplay could use some more apparent depth.

It doesn't look bad. It looks good.

My only gripe with it is that it looks very bland and colorless. I enjoy good graphics. But I enjoy color and a good artstyle more.

Muddy colors=MUDZONE! More colors pls.!!:P

I think that looked more scripted than anything. But normally, for demos like this, the AI is turned on easy to show features. That is my hope. 'Cause what I saw was horrible.

ic ic, but i guess your right just like in the MGS4 demo ppl said the AI looked dumb, but it was on easy mode so kojima could show you what the games features are.

yeah its just that, in an ask the devs forum one of the devs said it was on the easiest mode also with god mode on...the ai will be fine trust me

generic?... IMO it looks chaotic, like a real warzone, t really draws me in unlike other games...actually no other game has really drawn me in , mebe BF2 a little but nothing compaired to KZ2

It looks like A-AA material. Certainly better than the first Killzone, although I am more hyped about Resistance 2 than I am Killzone anything.

mmm... difficult question. It very well could be AAA, but at the same time, it could be stale, and be A material. As of right now, if the AI is tight and some of the level design issues are addressed (pressing that button four times and shooting countless magazines into the big gun), then it could very well shape up to be an AAA title.

thats new lol, resistance was kewl and all, better than gears value and play wise IMO but i just think ppl dont see the depth and complexity of KZ2 and how its at a crysis level in development and technology, ex most adv. lighting engine

Im still amazed by people commenting on AI from demo vids. Every dev tunes down AI or has god mode on when showing off a game. foolish fanboysSully28

Its cool to disagree but you have made my point... Nothing that is done in KZ2 is new to the FPS genre. The lighting, physics, AI, story, presentation nothing is outstanding about this game. I will give it credit for the possibility of being a quality title, but its been done before, just not on a Playstation system....thats about it!!!

might lok better on PC, but PC's dont have the CELL...yet....alsou'd have 5 DVD9's unless they make it BD disc, and 7 months?? lol its being released in march forsure? i get a feeling it will be later, but i guess we'll see
