Why do people(or rather fanboys) use VC games to back-up Wii's pathetic library?

Seriously OoT is a Nintendo 64 game. Not a wii game. But but teh wii has BC of all Nintendo consoles!! no it doesn't. BC = being able to play nearly all the games from that system. Not 4-8 games which people own 100 times over. Just Admit Wii's library is lacking and that the future looks to be full of average games made by developers who are spending more time and money on quality 360/PS3 games and less time and money(although more frequently) on wii games(UBI soft doing this a lot). Why make a 2 year project masterpiece(Asassins Creed) on Wii when you can make a cooking simulation(Rayman Rabbids 2) and get more sales? Developers know wii is easy to make games for so they make anything...i mean ANYTHING. Is this a Wii bashing thread? Not really, just saying the wii will not have the library of games people are magically expecting. Also VC = past games not Wii games. At least GC was in competition with Xbox and PS2 so it got some real games...Wii is going a totally new and wacky path. Wiifit FTW!!!P.S i wasn't referring Rayman as a Cooking game just used that genre as an example(mini games).

I don't understand it either. 2,3,4 generation old games made with 2,3,4 generation old graphics and not taking advantage of wii's greatest feature (wiimote) is considered wii games. Boggles the mind.manningbowl135

i somewhat agree with the tc here (though the wii liberary is far from pathetic...come on TC get some sense here).
the VC is a system for backwards comatability (and a nice system at that imho) for other machines. if were going to start including those in rating the wii liberary then we should be rating the wii liberary against the PS1, PS2 and PS3s liberary combined. or the entire PC liberary over the last 20 odd years.
wiis liberary is not great yet (but nowhere near pathetic) but it will greatly improve over the next few months.

Ok i take that back, I can't judge wii's library so soon but rather using the word pathetic i will use "lacking. I guess i used that word in anger towards Nintendo fanboys in this Board. No other fanboys annoy me more. But i'm glad some people agre with my initial point. Anyway i'm out.

Well I think making this thread to dump on the Wii is pretty pathetic and your attitude thinking the 360/PS3 and it's games and fans are superior is pathetic. Those machines are pathetic compared to high-end pc's so you really don't have an argument at all.
