Why do Sony games have very bland art styles?

You clearly aren't looking hard enough.

Say what you will about the games, but in the realm of art, Sony has a lot of lookers. In fact, some would argue that Sony puts too much emphasis on the art and not enough in the gameplay. That being said, when those gameplay and art direction come together, it's pretty awesome.

To be honest, I understand how you feel, but I'm so stoked for Ratchet and Clank that I would skip the demo and wait for the final game at this point. I did see the demo at store kiosks and watched some guy ripping through it, but it's such a tease that I didn't touch it, lol.

I've been a R&C fan since the first outing on the PS2. I remember reserving it and picking up R&C day one for PS2 just because Insomniac was behind it. That franchise was of the better purchases of that gen for me, especially the amazing sequel.
